Hope you do well Hafthor. SMOE looks like a great event in that it seems to be run for and by the athletes and in this case a former one - Brian himself. Something not others sports have. Hopefully you can do a lot of detailed footage of the event to show it in its totality as there seems to be a lot of interest for it

Most gyms i have been to dosen't have more then 100 Ibs / 45 kg dumbells. And have never seen anyone train with them either. Thor just knocks 150 Ibs out of the park x)

Its going to be good this competition. Put aside the other capable strongman they say Shaw Classic will be between you, Tom and Mitch. You're overhead press is you're weakness here. Tom's squat is his weakness here. Mitch's stones is his weakness.

It’s disheartening to see Thor have to exert a considerable amount of effort with what used to be a relative warmup weight for him. I recognize the judges and the history books don’t care about injuries but I know for a fact that Thor wins both Arnold strongman competitions and the Shaw classic 2024 if not for his prior injury which has devastated his overhead pressing and dumbbell pressing power.
