Hey POLO, first I just want to say that I admire your total transparency. The way you explained what happened, and why this isn't actually a reaction video, but rather a review. I appreciate your veracity. I just learned about 30 minutes ago that one of my favorite country music stars just passed away. I'm referring to Toby Keith, and he was taken too soon. I have a good sense of what you like in music and I have several ideas about songs that I think would surprise you in a positive way. One of those is a Toby Keith song called How Do You Like Me Now? Please do a reaction video for this one in honor of Toby Keith. Thanks for everything you do!
As a 60 y/o I still look for new good music constantly, but these days, that's quite the task, but a lot is out there if you care to look for it. But I'm not a huge fan of Hiphop and Pop music these days, but I do like some of it. BUT...Post Malone's debut album Stoney is AMAZING! Not a bad track on the album from start to finish.
Sometimes I feel like he’s misunderstood by the musical community and sort of pinned to one genre or another. He’s super diverse and a really quality songwriter. Thanks for checking him out ✌🏻his newest album Austin is a really great listen
Yesss i agree with your comment about his sense of humility and authenticity. I would add humanity and generosity. His live performance of Noah Kahan’s Dial Drunk (with Noah) is adorable He also covered a whole Nirvana album, live, while wearing a dress (in honor of Kurt Cobain). Funny, I think he has a 90’s-style musical sensibility but dresses it up in a hip hop/pop sheen to reach a bigger audience
I used to hate on post. This is because I’m an old fart who never gave him a listen. Then I did. Awesome guy, awesome talent, interesting character. Dude deserves to be a star.
I love Post Malone! I haven't heard all of his music yet, but I adore his humility and authenticity. He's one of the few I'd actually want to see live of I get the chance.
I’m guilty of judging this book by its cover. My introduction to Post Malone was when he showed up in some hard seltzer ad. That put him in the what’s-his-name-six-nine category. I never pursued looking into his music. Then this Tiny Desk showed up. I’m a fan of NPR’s Tiny Desk and have discovered a lot really good music through this series that started as a reaction to having a bad experience at a show at SXSW. Tiny Desk introduced me to Adele, Aurora, Lucius, and Post Malone among many others. I’m glad to have that initial judgment I had to that seltzer ad replaced by a legitimate appreciation for his music.
that sound and love he has.. alot of it is his experience. and some of them with schooms. i just finished his interview with joe rogan. its nearly 5 houra long. and at least half is just them watching music of posts intresrest growing up. was an amazing watch❤❤
After Post Malone started hanging out with Zach Baggins? He's very, very different. There's something wrong with him. An attachment? That would be my first guess. Smh ...
