This is a video that explains how you can post a message in Discord by pressing a button on your Elgato Stream Deck. This is been done with Webhooks.

If you are having trouble getting the user code with the backslash, you can go to the right where the user names are and right click their profile and copy the ID. Then just add and it should work. Hope this helps anyone.

Anybody having issues navigating, Take a look at the URL's when she is on certain pages, If you type the URL in for the pages she is on, it takes you to the right place, this is what I did

It took a while for me to figure this out. If you click on your profile picture on the top-right, you'll have another menu. Click "Create" to go to the New Applet page she was talking about. IFTTT since updated their site so this was thrown off a little bit. Click on the +This part and you're set.

That wierd i do the test on IFTTT it work , but when i do the test with the stream deck doesnt work anymore and back to IFTTT to try the test so not work ... i use MEE6 as bot

That is odd. I need to get back into how you need to do this as I only set it up once and now the website changed a LOT.

Hi, for the first time worked for me, but at the second one he didn't type nothing, i tried to re-create again but only the first time and that's it. You know if has sort of a cooldown or smth, because my lights via IFTTTT does not has a cooldown but idk. I need some help.

I don't think there is a cooldown, you might have said a Switch in your stream deck?

Unfortunately the IFTTT site has completely changed it's layout and navigation. Been trying to follow the instructions for like 30 minutes now but keep hitting dead ends. Thank you for the video though.

Could you pls do a tutorial that changes your name on discord when you are live. For example: I press the go live button and my discord name server name is updated to [LIVE] Foxy HD. That would be awesome!

Also a quick note. If you connect your Twitch to your Discord it will already show that you are live in your status and people can join your stream.

Hi there, I've been doing some research on this and I have a question. Does this only work if you're the server owner? I'm trying to figure out how to post in multiple servers at once that I'm a member of when I'm going live. They have dedicated channels for self-promotion and it takes a while to copy and paste the message over and over.

I am pretty sure that you need to be at least a moderator in the server as you need to ad a 'bot' to the server.

Sorry I do not understand the question? Do you want to change the font in Discord that you send the message with?

You can only type text as you normally can in Discord. So you could underline things with __word__ but you can't change the the font.

I haven't used this since I made the video (as I only needed to set it up once) so I don't remember any of it anymore. All the things I know are in the video which is outdated by now.

It simply is just not working for me, I followed your guide like 4 times now and copied exactly what you did and it just won't work.

That is weird! For me it works, so if you do exactly the same it should work for you normally. I can not tell what you did wrong like this. If you want to we can discuss it in my discord server. There you can also post screenshots and stuff like that. discord.gg/fup997h

@@trui I had a little bit of an issue, I was putting { } in the part where you put 'test' in the video. Because it does have a little { } in the preview before you replace it, I thought i was suppose to put them back, It wasn't working but i removed the { } and it works all good now :)
