I don't see any balloons so, you should keep looking for that ideal spot! ;)

You guys are doing great. I have tried and bought several things in your vidoes and its been spot on. Anyone trying to be Mobil on state land should be trying this out to see if they like it or not...? Your really missing out if you don't. You own the woods once you get it down.

It's cool to wake up and see you've posted another video. That's a great location. I am in western Oregon, so our forests are almost all conifers. It is much different hunting here. I am a bit envious!

This is filmed in my yard. It’s only 10 acres but it’s got a lot of diversity. The majority of where we hunt is the Northeast Appalachian Range. Consists of big Hardwoods and conifer forests with Mountain Laurel mixed in . It ranges from open hardwood ridges to thick nasty bottoms with the occasional swamps . It’s pretty diverse . We don’t have the elevation like you do on the west coast. 2000 ft is a very high ridge for us here

Greatest time of year that's not November. No bugs, no humidity or strong sunburn! Have similar activities in mind soon! Like how high you set the camera, with no strap, not likely to be seen by deer or thieves.

If u tie paracord around the tree with the 📷 it's nice to put an old rag wool mitten behind it. It gives u something to angle the camera downward while keeping the camera quiet while putting up & taking down. Might actually insulate it a bit too.

@@josephtreadlightly5686 If you check out some of NY Saddle Hunter video's or my video's on hanging cameras, you'll see we use a strapless camera mount setup, cheap & easy using 2 eyebolts. Check it out, you will like it.

Thanks for this video. Are you able to show us how you tie the paracord to the tree so the wind doesn't blow it over a branch for example please ?
@NYSaddleHunter
@NYSaddleHunter Год назад
Yes two things I do . 1 I like to put a bright eye tack to find the tree in the dark I catch the paracord under the tack. 2 . I find a limb on the ground tie it off to the paracord to weight it down and wrap the paracord taught around the tree and leave it weighted down by the stick.

The loops Joe is referring to that we leave in the tree are 550 Paracord. You can tie off one end of your rope to and pull it up over a crotch. Or with the Half-line system the paracord has a clip on one end and loop on other . The Halfline has attachment point where you clip the paracord to and girth hitch your climbing line from the ground
