Good job showing the transition from the trail to the city. We lived north of Seattle 28 years ago. Watching this video brings back good memories. Same with hiking in the Mt Baker-Snoqualmie national forest. 🥾👣👏🏼🏢

In my view here you are still walking in your PCT bubble, observing the city with new eyes. Gradually your bubble will dissolve and you will slip back into city life. On the trail every stranger (nearly) you met was part of your adventure, now they are just an anonymous mass. I’m sure it won’t be too long before you can’t resist the call of the wild. Thanks for sharing 😊❤

Cannot tell you how enjoyable it has been to follow you along on your remarkable journey. Congratulations on the completion of a very challenging, beautiful, and life changing endeavor. The contrast between the trail and the city is always intriguing. Seattle has some truly lovely places and others that hit the core of humanity’s sadness. One would not be able to fully experience joy, however, without the sadness. It provides a stark reminder of how very fortunate we are when in the mountains and grateful to be able to walk each step. You are so blessed to have one another. Treasuring the memories with you warmed my heart and encouraged me to keep walking each step with profound gratitude. Hugs from a fellow hiker from Oregon

I am glad you got to experience Seattle. I grew up in Washington in the city. I now live in a little town called Enumclaw at the base of Mt Rainier. Wouldn't change it for the world. Washington has so much to offer. You ever get a chance to hike the Enchantments or Wonderland trail you would not regret it. Good luck on your future endeavors. I look forward to following along. Stay safe. Stay real. Stay strong.

Hi I just want to wish you a happy return to the world of man as you have taken me on this adventure miles of endless views with big ups and great downs never give into the pain of body aches and suffering of the mosquitoes. Watching you has been very special as I would wake up to see the new day I know that you have many happy followers who have received so much joy of the PCT trail. The one point where you asked Bobby are you going to eat it the skittle he found you two were out of food and he did. I want to say congratulations on your epic hike and look forward to seeing more videos. JoP

It’s really not destroyed. Sure, if you’re downtown on 2nd or 3rd Ave it’s rough but otherwise it’s still a wonderful city. Lived there for the past four years.

Congrats on finishing the PCT!!! Also thanks for the wonderful tour of Seattle. I haven't been down there in 30ish years. I have 3 dogs now, so it's a little more difficult. Thank you so very much for showing the Wall of Gum. I just heard about that 2 months ago and plan to go there next year on our next road trip up that way. You guys are so awesome!!!! Thank you for sharing your journey. I pre-ordered your PCT book the other day and am sooooo excited to read it. I can't wait!! Congrats again!!! I'm super jealous!!! - Shybee from Utah

Thank you. Fascinating. I do not need to go to Seattle now 😇 and I don't say that in a mean way..... I just really don't. I am just not much of a city person. I live in a very quiet place and it is good for me. This reminds me of those times I came off 'the river' into 'town' and was just overwhelmed. 😊 There are pros and cons... the food looks amazing. The docks with ferries to the islands were VERY tempting. I have spent some time up there and it's beautiful, watery country. Thanks for keeping us with you as you decompress. ❣❣

Smoked Salmon chowder in a sourdough bowl!🤤🤤🤤 Ballard, Ballard Locks, Discovery Park, Golden Gardens, . . . . Green Lake . . . Pike Place is so touristy. The little water taxi to Alki in West Seattle . . . Capitol Hill . . . ❤

How the heck did you end up down in BURIEN to start? I used to live in Tukwila (cheaper, almost eliminated a commute compared to Seattle proper) and finally moved out near Rainier. I haven't been to downtown Seattle now in maybe 8 years...just can't handle all the traffic getting there, the noise and crowds, etc. That must have been quite an assault on the senses!

Now that you guys are off trail you're going to have to curb the binge eating. City life doesn't require nearly as many calories and hiker hunger will not serve you well.
