In today's Crafternoon™ Live, special guest Rina K. and I created some fun cards featuring her brand new April Showers stamp and die collection that is featured in our new Spring Celebrations card kit! Rina is always such a joy to be around and she's not only funny, but she makes really cute cards! We also used her New Beginnings stamp set and I shared a fun technique that you can do with this set that I think you will love! It always amazes me how great you two get along while working together. So much laughter and banter like two best friends the same age getting along so well. I just love listening to the two of you. The laughter and communicating going on is so special. Gina your such a good example of what a great mother is.. So easy to get along with and so supportive. Your not only good a stamping but being a friend to your daughter. You are really blessed in your personality. I admire you so much. Your daughter is so pretty and talented too and has such a fun personality. And creative to boot. Way to go Rina.

Love the Gina/Rina dance from Tom’s ring tone! So cute you girls!!! And Tom your “word of the day” is awesome! Cr-afterlife can be used in describing retirement crafting life as well! Rina you are too funny!!! Happy Easter All and God bless you guys too ❤!

@@rebeccah1635 Yes, I retired a year and a half ago, and I am so enjoying my cr-afterlife activities which totally include enjoying all of GinaK videos with Gina, Tom and Rina too. So informative and so creative, I love my cr-afterlife so much!!! Tom hit it right in the head with his word of the day!

Oops, forgot to say how much I enjoyed the cards too! I’m eager for my kit to arrive! I love Rina’s idea of using the Fizzy stencil as a soft background and then having the champagne glasses between the bride & groom - very nice!

Rina you have the best of both of your parents, kudos Gina and Tom! Can’t wait to get this stamp and die set. I have both of the postage die sets, waiting for the set with the postage “cents” ( those were the days) to arrive so I can really play! Love your guest videos with Rina! And Tom’s “words of the day” rocks.

Gina, I was watching the replay of you and Rina's tutorial and heard you mention "mauve" and oak kitchens. I can relate with both.😊 My Tom and I have been married for 50 years and still have an oak kitchen!

Ok, I kept shouting Sea Glass at the screen, *In the Replay* 🤣, as soon as you showed the white background, until you finally heard me (I shouted Sea Glass so loudly, my voice went back in time!) and then I saw it, meh, you were right, it washed out. An idea that ended not with a bang, but with a whimper 😉. The Tangerine Twist did it for me, but it sure was fun to see all the options. You three really play well together, and I loved the picture of the girls and Tom you took 20-ish years ago. And Kudos for Alicia making a life behind the camera, hope she takes Best at the Milwaukee Film Festival. Then she could enter it in the Mill Valley Film Festival (California), that’s a really good attention getter 👍. 🎉

Poor Rina and her first haircuts, I’m surprised my daughter didn’t go into hair also she first cut her little brothers hair down the middle of his head then she cut her own, she had hair to her waist line area, but she cut only half of it off, they some how got into my sewing box on kitchen bar, we still don’t know how and she’s now 43 yrs lol funniest she wanted me to glue her hair back on, she was 3 yrs old her brother was 2. 🤦‍♀️ should have waited to do the laundry that day. lol I love the cards, tfs ❤😊

The long held tradition a,omg apple pie bakers in my circle is said to the Granny Smith. I tried them and they hold their shape and stay rather firm after baking an apple pie long enough to bake the perfect crust. Not my favourite. I tend to throw in a collection of random apples but never those that stay firm. Ugh it’s a personal preference. Love that stamp set! Can’t wait.
