hello! sorry i don't answer comments as much, but mainly I went over playing with friends through a vpn service like hamachi (to simulate being on LAN together, which also lets you sync ragdolls) It should be possible to host a dedicated server, I'd recommend looking at the mods discussion page: steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/737631813/1696045708655297815/ thank you for commenting and I hope I could be of help ^_^

Assuming you're both using Hamachi, they created a Hamachi network, you joined the Hamachi network, and the network is set as online, It should technically function like a LAN connection. Maybe check if the firewall is interfering with Hamachi. Otherwise, I'd recommend searching for a video on Hamachi servers in case there's something I'm missing or can't show visually. Best of luck in resolving the issue! Sorry if I'm of no help. (I recommend hamachi mainly because you get ragdoll synchronization and it's the easiest, transferable setup for older games)

Non-dedicated servers have ragdoll synchronization, which I think is a huge plus in such a silly, goofy game. I imagine most people are just trying to play with a couple buddies so it's usually not necessary to make an online server nowadays.

i don't believe the mod works on the latest version, but if you want to go back: right click postal 2 select properties select betas under beta participation select None

@@dahiddentroll ty. I needed this information so that when the mod was updated to the latest version of the game, I could return from beta 5025 to the latest version of the game

After switching to Beta 5025 and deleting Workshop Content folder 737631813, does it still not load the nicks coop screen? Do you have any other mods?

Whenever I try load my save it says : Can't find file for package 'PatchTex' The map or save game may depend on Steam Workshop and/or game mod resources no longer present, or your copy of POSTAL 2 may be corrupt.

As far as I know, the file is created when launching the mod. If you run the mod in beta 5025, it should create the folder and install it correctly.
