I think the Postal 3 Dude's beta model is better than the one that made the final cut only because it suits the franchise's design style a lot better, but still, the game isn't officially owned by RWS so I see the final model as someone else's take on the Dude.
@@therandombeanfan3649 The beta model is my favorite model of the dude out of all the games. I hope it gets ported to Postal 4, cause it's amazing to look at. I suspect the model was changed to fit Corey Cruise's voice more.
@@mrscruffles801 Yeah. Speaking of Rick Hunter, he's now got his own voice option in Postal 4, along with Corey Cruise and obviously John St John. It's nice to see he's still involved with RWS.
Postal is just like the Shrek Franchise. A guy is just trying to live a normal life while being hunted down by town's people, where he has to go far out of his way just to get something done for someone he doesn't like (Farquaad/ the "wife"). The main character has no regrets in his actions unless they affect the people he actually cares about. But the closest thing is the fact that there are only three installments: the first, the second and the fourth.
@@djeddjole Postal 2 is one of those games that I feel doesn't need a remaster, the graphics help make the experience. They literally can't remaster Postal 3 because they don't own the rights to it anymore.

@Stix N' Stones Aye the Beta version looks more like the dude from 2, and a real nice model for the character himself, much prefer him if there was a modern graphic postal game (I would say postal 3 but Paradise Lost is postal 3 for me so I'd say postal 4)

Oh yeah, the dude himself, his voice work, the player model, and the music? All very fitting for Postal and the world. It's a shame the actual game tanked the way it did.....
The game has a good visual style, well-chosen soundtrack, good humor. But the gameplay in the game is terrible, it is simply impossible to play it due to bugs and crashes. I'm very sorry that this happened with the game ...
The design of Postal 3 Dude is like an upgraded version of Postal 2, cooler hairstyle, thicker coat, etc. Shame that I can't say the same about its gameplay and plot.
Postal 3 had so much potential. I think it was not that good because it was in the hands of other developers. I still like it though. I love all three games. This one could've been better, not saying that it's bad. Maybe if they just took the time to sit down, fix up the bugs, update the mechanics and use a better game engine, it could be an amazing game. Sadly, I don't think that will happen. I still love this game and the other two Postals. This song is kick ass btw!
Psychopathic Radical The first team Akella hired was in house. then the global financial crisis hit, and they had three more teams, each one sucking more than the last. Even today by the postal society they identify them as the A team, B team, C team, AND D TEAM. they did well but then pressure and greed got on the horizon and they tried a huge bail.
I don't think the engine is the problem. Source engine brought us great games such as Half-Life 2 and it's episodes, Portal 1 and 2, Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 and many others. If it was RWS that made the entire game I think that it would have worked out but since other companies sticked their shit filled fingers in it the game was a huge failure...
The fact that the guy who made this song and Corey Cruise both rocked the recording booth this hard for a project that turned this badly just makes me sad.

I feel sad for the guy who composed this. He probably didn't know how bad this game will be. But at least he knew what he is doing, which can't be said about developers. EDIT: actually, after I bought on the sale and played this game knowing all the rules and mechanics of it. And it turned out to be good. Not great as second, but still it was actually kinda nice to play. The only real problem of that game is the fact that's it repetitive and with this karma-meter doesn't gives you much fun in massacring all the people. But anyways, *I regret nothing.* EDIT2: if you ask how I could enjoy something that everyone hates I'll just say that I played the version with 10,000 patches on it, so yeah... EDIT3: btw, fuck civvie 11
Well it's more so the company's fault. The stock market crash combined with poor decision making forced them to fire their actually competent dev teams. If it wasn't for these factors maybe Postal 3 wouldn't have been so bad.
wow it actually does. If fallout new vegas was an anime it would have this as the main theme. That new vegas anime should have multiple endings, one were each faction wins and also an independent new vegas.

Postal 3 is in an odd scenario i personally feel it could've been good if the devs actually knew how to make a game. I personally love this dudes design and i think corey did a great job on his voice, I'd even say the world, hud art style,and weapon concepts were pretty neat, the soundtrack is also pretty good. Just sucks all these cool things were put to waste with a buggy mess

Nope. Postal 3 had even more budget than P2. But something gone wrong, deadlines, Akella fired whole team so other but really inexperienced had to finish the project. P3 got stuck in early alpha version and never got finished
POSTAL III... a tragedy and a half to play, let alone think of even installing. I'm glad we have projects like Catharsis Reborn and POSTAL III Unreal to rectify this game's... issues. we also have POSTAL 4 now. it is essentially POSTAL 2 HD with elements that were scrapped from POSTAL III, but I couldn't be more grateful to Running with Scissors for getting not 1, not 2, but 3 different actors for The POSTAL Dude, all of them familiar faces.
Postal 3 is a canceled game It should have starred Corey Cruise and had this awesome theme and the cool model of dude but RWS think that what comes after 2 is 4 not 3 unlike steam who stopped counting after 2
The guitar sounds like it was ripped from garage band, the stringy instrument that comes after sounds like it’s from silent hill and the second guitar sounds like it’s from wolfenstein. I love it.
postal 3 needs a remake. yeah, i said it. why do only good games get remakes? castlevania the adventure rebirth was fucking awesome, and yet rws never decided to give dude’s coma dream in catharsis another shot?
You know i’d be 1000% on board for a Postal 3 remake where RWS or someone makes the game that was originally intended and not have it run on the source engine. I’d honestly prefer it over Postal 4.
Damn ! I really love this game because of the concept of it and how it expands the gameplay from Postal 2 , including a good guy option and a visible morality meter . But fuck I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for how broken and unplayable this game gets :/
is not that broken you now? like yeah it has some frame rate issues and there's one mission in with the game crashes and the cutscenes of that mission are swap so if you do the good path you get the bad path cutscene but after that, the game works pretty well.
Most people don't like that its pretty broken and nearly unplayable and gwo to get the good ending you have to play as the good guy I like my good guy endings I play oddworld games and then only way to get the good ending is to save as many people as you can but not in postal
