Fellow Patriots & Freedom lovers, I was peacefully exercising my 1st Amendment rights at the United States Post Office in Akron, Ohio. As soon as I entered the building, without speaking to anyone, the Akron Police were called for a man with a camera. What the Postal employees didn’t expect was that the officer who arrived on scene didn’t want to enforce their feelings, what a breath of fresh air. This angered the supervisor, who began to disrespect the officer when he told her I was breaking no laws…this is a good one. Let me know your thoughts in the comments! Please be sure to hit the like button and share! it truly helps spread this around for more Patriots to see it and I appreciate it!

This is the first time I've seen an officer do the right thing and upholding constitutional freedoms right off the rip. Was respectful, professional. He didn't say anything negative towards Sean, telling the complainant simply and firmly that Sean was doing NOTHING WRONG and he is allowed to record. No saying "unfortunately we can't stop him" or "he is just trying to create a confrontation". He just said that it's not illegal to record even if it makes them feel uncomfortable. And as a bonus look at the above and beyond level of professionalism, he didn't approach Sean at all nor hang around to question Sean, reached for his card before even being asked for name and badge number, no copsplaining about "this day and age" orseeing it from their side or think of how it makes them feel suspicious or uneasy, officer never gave any directives (only explaining what could escalate the situation to become illegal)...Most amazingly however is that the officer didn't even bother to attempt to identify Sean. Officer just upheld his rights and bounced.... He didn't look very happy and tried to leave with the quickness so be probably had a bad experience with another auditor...but clearly he was well trained on how to handle audits and cop watching. I'm proud of my home state for having this ONE officer.

He respected LIA's rights but he was still unprofessional with the postal employee. When she asked for a supervisor he told her she could call him and then when she asked for the number and his supervisor's name he wouldn't give it. That is the same way they treat auditors when they ask for a supervisor and would have been called out if he was doing it to LIA. While I do commend the officer for honoring LIA's first amendment rights he completely disregard the postal worker's and wouldn't allow her to redress her grievance.
