Nice to win a trophy. UConn doesn’t usually go too nuts over conference titles because of the standard they set, but this is different. They’ve lost half their team and they’re playing freshmen and bench warmers just to get through a game and they still have a conference title. Of course the Big East isn’t as strong a conference, but UConn can only build their program, not others. Will they go far in the NCAAs? Of course not. No team that has lost what they have can. Just get out of Storrs and call it a nice year. One of these years they’re not going to have half the team out injured.
Really appreciated his comments on Paige. It's obvious she likes the challenge, but he acknowledged how much respect she has for her teammates that she believes they'll make the shot. I also enjoyed hearing his comparison to DT, with the level of talent she has around her and how much she has to do
Consistent developer . PAIGE thinks she has to carry the team and hold it together . She does and does not have that responsibility. Thats difficult on the not most talented uconn team. Injuries occurred possibly over doing it . Personal will is not everything in a team sport. This is a really patient and prudent coach.
Who cares what you have to say? Where is the full game videos of Marquette or Georgetown? This Tuesday and I’ve watch the Big ten, the SEC, and the PAC 12 full games. Another few days I won’t care about UConn’s full games.
Hhey Geno? I just witnessed your team play another one of the high school teams in the so called Big (actually small) East! That's all you play, year in and year out. Paige is a great player but the rest of the league's Junior College at best.
Georgetown is the 6th best defense in the country. Creighton is 23rd nationally overall. 5 teams in the national tournament last year. Marquette is top 30 in fg percentage. The bottom of the conference is terrible, but the top 7 teams are good, with the 7th best team having a 61 net. Those facts I just looked up probably took less time than you took to write that garbage. Take some time to educate yourself prior to forming an opinion as the facts don't support your hyperbole.
Man to do what they have done lost by fourteen to SC and thirteen to norn dame and was in those games right to the last five minutes.what if SC lost half their team or any orther team.man get real no bs here
@@darindamaddio3727 Why wouldn't those teams have those ranking? All the teams they play are high school teams. Put them in the PAC 12 and they'd all be lucky to have 5 or 6 wins! Gimme a break@
