Nice answer from Sharp. Shead flipped a switch in the second half. He looks like he could score 25/game but doesn't. If you want rings you have to share the ball (TOTH to Craig Hodges). Props to the players, staff, families and UH---character and culture.
I don’t understand why they need to do this conference tournament crap when UH has already proven it is the best team in the conference when it already won the conference championship with the best record in the conference! Forcing these guys to play additional games for the conference tournament would only cause more injuries to the players and wear them out before the March Madness competition, which is the most important games of them all and probably the ones that really matter at all!
Yeah I think they are waste of time for high seeded teams. Sasser got hurt last year in the conference tournament it pretty much cost us a change to go further than we did. He had to play hurt the whole NCAA tournament. The only ones I have seen online making a bid deal about Conference tournaments have been low seeded teams or ISU which makes no sense for ISU. ISU fans act like the conference tournament is their Superbowl. its pretty weird
Actually not a fan of how coach has begun treating the most neutral questions as negatives. Injuries are a concern for everyone and if coach doesn't talk about the status of a starter that literally has no back ups before they ask questions, it's a legit question to ask. They aren't allowed to ask about upcoming games. They even get in trouble if they lead up to a positive by asking about what got them out of a slump that game. "Geee, we won, why even mention when we weren't scoring." If they eventually lose, the first person that asks what went wrong will be greeted with "well we won X games in a row, everyone but one team loses eventually." Coach doesn't like doing these press conferences and he takes it out on everyone. Including the most softball questions he gets asked by whatever female is on the court at the end of the first half.
