I think that what has always limited winter wheat yields in North east Arkansas especially on our old farm which was mostly Cotton. Soybean rotatation on the majority of our ground was my dad's faith that their would always be enough P&K carry over from the Previous Cash crop to support the wheat Crop.... yes we put heavy split Nitrogen in the spring....Wheat income was more or less playmoney.. I think now that had we put out 100 to 150 lbs. of both P&K and then used that carryover to help the Dbl.cropped soybeans ..
hello guys, how is it going? I have got a question... what do you guys think about the use of Potassium Nitrate instead of other Potassium and Nitrogen sources? I've been working in a company which we focus on the increase in yield and quality of the crop final product.The reason why we focus on this source is that it has the best source of nitrogen ( Nitrate) and Potassium without the chloride (which competes within the absorption of no3- so4- and po4-).Besides we have the nitrate as main form of nitrogen in the soil solution which is going to get into the plant offering a synergism in the uptake of k+ Ca++ and Mg++. I've been following you guys since when I've got at college. I appreciate your videos. Thanks and I hope you answer with you guys opinion.
