U r right Primary aldisteronisn does not cause hyponatremia However she said patient was having hyponatremia Cause was not mentioned Maybe it was due to some other cause

Our institute used to give KCL undiluted 5 ampules at 5 ml/hr through central line if k is less than 2.5 -Is this right ??

K citrate is preferred in accompanying acidosis especially RTA where it prevents stone formation

High sodium with hypokalemia is typical of hyperaldosteronism . Other conditions may independently lead to such a situation eg diarrhea with fluid losses, soda bicarb infusion causing metabolic alkalosis etc
