In today’s video, I’m tackling some unexpected repairs after a key piece of our potato cellar equipment went down. With harvest season in full swing, keeping everything running smoothly is a must, so I dive in to get the equipment back in action.
Once that’s handled, I head out to the field to do some vine beating and clear the way for our harvesters. The process of removing potato vines is crucial before we can dig the spuds, and it’s always a satisfying part of the day.
After finishing up with the vine beater, I finally get a turn behind the wheel of the potato harvester. Just as I’m getting into the rhythm of the operation, we hit another snag-the harvester breaks down! With the clock ticking and potatoes waiting to be dug, we scramble to figure out the issue and get the machine running again.
