sharing an easy one pot meal, potato mint pulao recipe. suitable for lunch or dinner especially during winters. below is the reipe

1.5 cup basmati rice
2 cup water
1 small onion sliced
1 potato sliced
1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
1/4 cup chopped coriander
1/4 cup curd/yogurt
1 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
whole spices like
4-6 peppercorns
3-4 cloves
1-2 cardamom
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
cinnamon
mace
Firstly turn on the ip saute mode for 15 min.
When hot add oil, all whole spices & powdered spices. saute for a min.
Add onion & saute
Add potato & saute
Add peas, mint & coriander saute
Add curd/yogurt
Now add basmati rice, water & salt
Close the ip lid. turn on pressure cook mode for 7 min.
After 7 min vent out the steam completely.
Hot pulao is ready to serve.
We can also make it in pressure cooker. All the procedure is same. Just turn it off after 1 whistle & let steam release naturally.
