That's because seeing the beauty of the Philippines takes the backseat in a poor country run by corrupt people who aren't paid a living wage and need to migrate. We have no public healthcare or nice parks or libraries. First world countries do. Filipinos know how beautiful it is. But traveling and eating is a privilege. It's strange to not take that into consideration when you say "many Filipinos don't realize that the country is blessed with beautiful nature". Did you think all Filipinos can afford airfare, resorts and hotels and good food?
Obviously they (foreingers) can enjoy the Philippines because they have more money to spend and go around the country whereas the locals who are mostly average, middle class and poor are focus on how to get through the day. 😅 Do not romanticise it a lot and go out to your bubble and you will see the reality of life.
