Potato salad was something I would not eat when I was little, but, I have learned to like it. I like to use dill pickle too. The Chow Chow is a neat addition I have never seen and will have to try that it sounds good. When I learned to make potato salad it ended up like mashed potato salad too. I got used to eating it like that so I kinda like it like that now too. Thank you for the recipe and video.

I make my potato salad from mashed potatoes. Cold leftover mashed potatoes make the best potato salad. I use boiled eggs, onions and diced dill pickle. I also use miracle whip and mustard. But I think everyone makes potato salad different...and they are usually all good.
