Recipe: Potol Pasinda.
About this recipe: Roj ekgheye potol khete khete amader ar valo Lage na. Kintu potol holo emon ekta sobji ja ei gorom e shuru ar Sara bochor amader bondhu hoye theke jay.
Amader hat chhere chole Jay na kintu. Ta Jai hok ami anek vebe chinte potol er recipe ta baniye fellam. Potol Pasinda recipe ta ektu onno rokom vabe ami baniye felechi. Cholun apnader kivabe ranna ta korlam.
Ingredients:
Pointed gourd,
Grated Coconut,
Cashews,
raisins,
Green chillies,
Refined oil,
1 teaspoon coriander paste,
1 teaspoon cumin paste,
1 teaspoon ginger paste,
Salt as per taste,
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,
1 teaspoon sugar,
2 cups water,
1 teaspoon ghee,
Small amount of garam masala powder.
Process:
Take some pointed gourd and peel the skin.
Now cut it into 2 pieces.
Wash it properly.
Take 1/2 coconut and grate it.
Now take a mixing jar and blend the grated coconut.
Take out the milk from the coconut.
Take some cashews, green chillies,and raisins into a mixing jar then add small amount of coconut milk and paste it.
Now take a kadai add 3 tablespoon refined oil.
Add the pointed gourd into it.
Add small amount of turmeric powder and salt and fry it.
Now add 2 tablespoon refined oil.
Add the masala paste.
Add salt as per taste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,
1 teaspoon sugar now cook it.
Add small amount of water and cook it.
Now add the cashew, raisins paste into it.
Cook it and then add the fried pointed gourd.
Cook it well.
Now add 2 cups water and cover it for 10 mins.
After 10 mins check it and add the coconut milk.
Add some crushed cashews and raisins.
Add green chillies and
Cook it for 2 mins.
Now add ghee and garam masala powder into it.
Cover it again.
Potol Pasinda recipe is ready to serve.
