It was a little flimsier than I expected. I had to add a 2x2 piece of wood to the bottom on the rear side in order to stabilize it better ru-vid.comUgkxXTh-lz-8W6GcB219vTLp27-MxbZYObBX . It is also starting to bow a little at the outer wall ( I've had it up for about 6 months), I've already had a shelf tumble down because of the bow and the fact that the little shelf brackets are quite short. I went out to home depot and got some longer ones so that the shelves don't tumble down again. Overall, it looks very nice for the price and it holds a lot ( I use it as a pantry). I am very satisfied with my purchase. I just strongly suggest reinforcing it before putting it up.
This is the best pot lid organizer for my cabinet. Watched a ton but yours is the best. Straight info & technique without wasteful chatter! Thank you!! ❤️
Another idea for the pot lids, would be to add two long tension rods at the same level, about 7" below the top of the cabinet. The idea is to arrange them like railroad tracks across the length of the cabinet, from side to side. Then, you can just rest your potlids there, upside down, and you can just grab them from a higher level without needing to stoop down very much, and you might have enough room to slide them to one side or the other, to give just a little more choice and convenience with how they're organized. The small pot at the top of the rack may then need to be moved to the corner where the potlids once were, but that works fine to make more space for the potlids at the top. Both ways to organize the potlids are good, but the advantage of the tension rods are that they're adaptable to work for other projects, too, as needed.
I thought about that, but we don't use the lids very much. So for us it was easier not to, that way the kids could just easily put the pots back in place!
I’m so sad 😞 I clicked on this video so excited because I have a dumb cabinet with a shelf. It doesn’t come out and I’m a renter :( I’m so perplexed on how to organize this cabinet
Someone must have a camera in my dining room, I just spent the afternoon into evening Totally rearranging my pots and pans and Tupperware cabinets because I wanted to be able to use a 3 tier shelving organizer for my canned goods , but the cabinet right next to the stove , where I had been keeping the canned goods wasn’t tall enough for the 15” tall shelving . So I moved all my Tupperware out and was able to use the 3 tier unit on one side of the cabinet and an expandable shelf on the left side( it is a big cabinet). It is going to be much more efficient this way🙂.
I luv ur pots & lids organizer. OMG...I hate my lids cabinet for my pots/pans/ bowls...bc they're jus thrown in there. I will say my hubby bought me a organizer last yr for my pots/pans & I luv it even tho there's not enuff room for all of them. Anyways I've always had a vision all my life in my head how I wanted my kitchen wen I buy my home(we jus bought r 2nd home in feb) bt with our 1st home...it was already newly remodeled & we were new at it. So with this home...we have already lived here 5yrs before buying it n its an older home n has alot of potential. We have already put alot of money & work into it since we first moved in & was jus renting bt now we got sum plans/ideas for remodling. Anyways he bought me a rack that hangs on my wall bt I got hooks to hang my pans from it n put my pots on the 2 shelves it has. So I jus need to organize my lids n I think I will check out the thing u got. I really like that! TYSVM alicia😊
WOW, had no idea command hooks were that strong lol! I've been watching alot of videos on cabinet remodels & I really love your pots & pans organizer the best! Thank you!
You need to get heavy duty ones! It would be best to attach it the right way to your cabinet. But if you can’t, definitely make sure you get heavy duty hooks! And your welcome I’m so glad you are here. 🥰
