nooooo i'm crying again D: I would have cried at this event... It already hurt a lot losing Alan because I didn't just like him for Harry Potter... But what pressed the tears button again was watching Rupert look like he was gonna cry... I would lose ability to speak for a few minutes on seeing a familiar childhood face start to cry like that... Especially that of the best friend of the character I looked up to most. That's when it really hits home. I try to go on being crazy about Harry Potter stuff and not think too much about how this year opened for all of us, but sometimes I find myself back in places like this anyway. I've been rewatching the films and I noticed that most of the time the camera is on Alan, I can't keep my eyes on the screen and my brain sometimes jumbles again to where I can't remember his last name for a few minutes. I remember David Bowie passed away like a week or two before and I cried, but not more than once. I simply missed the work he had done for one movie ("Labyrinth") and it wasn't a movie from my childhood. But then I woke up to mom telling me Alan Rickman had passed away and spent like an hour in my room crying. Someone who's awesome acting abilities I had come to know and trust for films since I was only 8 years old or so was now gone. I was looking forward to seeing him in more films and productions VERY much because of this level of belief in his abilities that I had. I really wanted to get to go to this one day and meet him at one of the autograph sessions they sometimes have so I could have him sign one of my books and tell him a little of how much I enjoyed his portrayal of Severus ever since I was a little girl. I was so upset that I couldn't watch any of his films for a while. I've had the same issue with Robin Williams so far, too. I'd known who he was since I was like FOUR. That's even longer than Alan Rickman. Robin always cracked me up and amused me in most of his movies and he EVEN managed to make me unafraid of one of my worst childhood fears for a whole movie- "Bicentennial Man". I was DEEPLY afraid of humanoid robots. But I loved Galatea and Andrew. I also enjoyed Flubber and the Genie in Aladdin... There are still a few of his movies that I haven't seen, but I saw quite a few growing up and really loved him a lot as an actor, too. I knew who he was for way longer than I knew who Alan was, so it was the same issue for me when Robin passed. Except I cried on and off ALL DAY and I STILL can't go back to his films. I want to, but I feel like I'd just die inside doing it. I will always miss Alan and Robin.

No other actor, I repeat NO OTHER ACTOR, could have done a better job at portraying Severus Snape the way Alan Rickman so beautifully and brilliantly did. He is missed everyday. RIP from 2019!

We love you Alan Rickman, why does it always have to happen to the people who leave the biggest footprint on earth and make a huge impact on the world. that’s how it seems. he is truly one of the best actors I have ever watched on a movie, why did he have to go.😔😔😭 His relatives and friends probably cried their eyes out when it happened, just like me, but just remember, he will always be a legend. that’s why people will never forget him, because hero’s are remembered and legends never die. we will never let anyone forget about you.
