Just a tip for spray painting- hold your can about a foot from the item and use quick but continuous strokes rather than close up spurts. You’ll get a more even texture and save paint! Love the video!

I use the small 2 oz. acrylic paints. I use a couple of different greens and paint the fake plastic leaves. It makes a big difference on the look. It looks more real because it takes that plastic shine away.

Awesome projects, and clever to use both parts of the plunger in separate projects. I'd cut the screw part off the handle though. Every crafty person needs at least a coping saw and a hand drill in their tool kit.

I love it when people do the "store inspired" items on a budget and then at the end, doing a side by side comparison. They may not always look exactly like the inspiration pieces, but it's fun to see just how close you can get for just a few $$$'s!

My Dollar trees here are ALWAYS out of nautical rope 😭😭😭 I have to buy 2 or 3 ea time they get them back in stock bc they disappear so fast. But I finally after weeks, hunted down the tumbling tower game!!! And stocked up on the vases, and the blocks for these stands! So adorable and perfect for my t.v. stand in our living room.

All of your items are super nice !! I like the shell sphere the best. The method if applying the paint to the terracotta pot is called pouncing. It makes the pot look old, textured and used. I like this use of the plunger. Using a small kitchen plunger would look nice next to the larger one.

Very cool ideas! I'm especially impressed with your use of the plunger because many youtubers will use its wooden handle... but then the plunger itself just becomes trash and that feels too wasteful. And the absolute best part is that it doesn't look anything like a plunger once you've put your candlestick together! You have a wonderfully creative mind to be able to take these simple items and transform them completely! How well has the paint on the plunger held up over time?
