Video updated Dec 2010, and it's now more than 5 years later. Where's the promised video of showing the finished product? This is all new to me. Without knowing ALL of the steps, I can't try to do it myself. 😪

Thanks for uploading this! When I tried to do a similar clay basket however, as it dried it shrunk and broke apart. Any suggestions to prevent this? It seems like the mold inside is problematic since it doesn't shrink as the clay dries...
Once the clay is firm, remove it from the mold and put it either in a plastic bin with the lid partially opened so it slow dries. The slower it dries the less likely it will crack.
I tried this way and it really worked but my problem was about getting the basket out of the support without destroying it! How can you do that? Thanks for answering! :)
Floww ouww I would suggest you using the inside of a mold instead of the outside and then the basket would shrink and pretty much turn it upside down and it will fall out
