Hello and welcome! If you are working on creating lidded forms like jars or teapots, this video is for you! This tutorial covers the throwing and trimming portion of making a rounded or domed lid. This style of lid rises above the edge of the flange, giving your piece added height and volume. Here, we will do the simplest version of this lid, but it can also be thrown with the flange directly on the lid. We will cover that in a later video! Comment below with any questions or feedback!
