You've got a pot on the background table with a green base and white speckled top... might you be willing to explain how you glazed it?
@zinongo

Sure and nice to hear fromyou, basically, it's a piece with underglaze/ slips. On the inside is a matt clear glaze on the outside. I've applied a textured glaze. The upper section of glaze has about 5% silicon carbide added to the glaze, making it bubble and blister. This is then ground back to reveal the slip underneath. I'll be doing glazing down the track and will incorporate some of the glazes I work with. Cheers Njalikwa

Hi Njalikwa, can I ask - I think you mentioned you were left handed and it seems as though the wheel spins anticlockwise. So if I am right handed, shoukd I be spinning my wheel clockwise, as I've always spun it anticlockwise 🙈. Have I been doing it wrong all this time?

I'm right-handed so anti-clockwise. If you're sitting at the wheel, imagine it as a clock most of your work happens between 4 and 5 o'clock as a right-hander for left handers, most work occurs between 7 and 8 o'clock. Remember that aside from opening up, your dominant hand is I on the outside of the forms you're throwing Cheers Njalikwa
