durant efukt, it's necessary to do more research on the matter. What you're saying is exactly like somebody else saying that the US had to go into Iraq because Saddam had WMDs and was going to attack the USA. Who did MOVE ever shoot? And the eviction story was just an excuse made by the government. The cops had all the opportunities to arrest MOVE people for years, but never did. They waited for them to all gather into the house before hundreds of cops surrounded their home, armed for war, and cops themselves testified that they emptied their guns, reloaded and emptied them again in corners where they heard babies crying. One cop was shot with a bullet traveling downward, and was killed. MOVE were all in the basement, 6 feet underground, holding their children and animals and trying to stay alive with all the tear gass and thousands of gallons of water flooding their basement. They were all sentenced with 30 to 100 year in jail, even if the judge who sentenced them admitted live on radio that he 'hasn't the faintest idea who killed the cop'. Another thing you should know is, there were 12 people in that house that day. They were all given a proposition which was, either you disassociate with MOVE and you go free, or we sentence you to 30 to 100 years. 3 of them disassociated with MOVE and got released. The 9 others refused to disassociate with MOVE, and those are the ones that remain in prison to this day since 1978, one of them murdered in prison: Merle Africa. Now don't take my word for it, you go and do your own research, but you got to listen to all sides of the story.
