Mango had the comeback all down, but he HAD to go for the swag/disrespect instead of holding down the win by just grabbing ledge or counterattacking Hax's recovery. As much as I love Mango, he kind of deserved it. #muchlovetomangonationbutilikehaxtoo

They both played well, and it was entertaining as hell. But my vote for winner goes to Mango. He really went for the style points at the end there, after all, this is a spectator sport. He didn't have to jump off, but it made it so much more exciting to watch, and I know that's what was going on in his head. Dude goes for style, I can appreciate that.

I normally like Husband's commentary but, man he was being so annoying this tournament. Listen to the set with S2J vs Land. He keeps on saying, 'yeah I don't follow S2J and I'm not really seeing where the hype is'. Geh, that just wasn't sitting well with me.

I could hardly keep my eyes on the match with HAX's expressions during it.

This set was an affront to PPMD's Marth.

I love the tournament but I hate the commentator "husband." Many of his comments were belittling and promotes a very toxic environment within melee. For one, during S2J vs Laudandus, he commented that he wanted S2J to lose just so he can move on to commentate the more "exciting" matches. For the fans and the community, please chose commentators who is willing to progress the smash community forward.

This is hax’s best performance of his career and this was years past his prime. That is insane.

At the very end (17:15), Mango could have just jumped back to grab the ledge while Hax started up his Firefox, and hit him with a rising Dair spike from the ledge as he recovered. But, alas, the Kid has to style. I would have thought that 5 or more Dolphin Slash kills were enough, but not for Mango. Good stuff to him--I wish he had tried to bring out the Falcon for this, but I realise that he was probably trying to bring out Hax's Falcon, too.

The fact that Mango's Marth took Hax's Fox to last stock, last hit says something. lol If only Mango's recoveries were better with Marth, then I think he'd probably be a Top 2 Marth in the world. lol
