That trade for the first stock game 1 was so interesting

This has to be my favorite set I've ever seen light play. Light always struggled with wolf, and especially Jakal's, in neutral. But his decision making and mixups were out of this world. Jakal is definitely a top player and did not let this match go easily, but light just played that well that he 3-0d him. Insane

That down smash at the end of the set was smart as hell. I noticed a couple times Light could have down smashed Jackal earlier in the set, which is why I assume right here 11:52 he adapted so quickly to Jackal's timing. Definitely taking note of how he handled this scenario and info.

Jackal played this horribly. I love light but I think Jackal wins like 7/10 times

I love watching jakal play. Light is always a treat of course but I usually hate watching wolf so it’s cool that jakal makes him so entertaining

Second game's last stock pressure was insane coming from Light. I think that's the most pressure I've ever seen

Does anyone have any advice on how Jakal should've handled Light's Fox ? It's crazy to see a very well seasoned wolf player not able to make a comeback or a download within these few games

It’s crazy how pedestrian Smash Ultimate commentary is, especially when compared to Melee commentating. I mean it’s not entirely their fault, since Melee has more depth to the game, but still. I mean give us some stats, emotional stake in the match, anecdotes about the players, history about the game, insights into game nuances - something! I feel like Ultimate commentators feel like their job is to describe what is happening, which is the exact opposite. In this video, there were multiple times where Rod would be talking about something interesting, then quickly rush a haphazard conclusion just to return to humdrum descriptions of what the audience is already seeing.
