Today we went to two different stores Harrods and Poundland to show the comparison between Christmas products and prices! Cheap vs expensive! We also wanted to see if the expensive gifts at Harrods is worth buying or is it better to go to a budget shop like Poundland? This was a really fun haul video, we hope you like it! This video is good for anyone looking for money saving tips, looking for cheap Christmas gift ideas, shopping on a budget, anyone conscious of the cost of living or their financial situation, or anyone just trying to save money! Enjoyed watching the price and quality comparison. I was shocked when Bob said 10 days till Xmas. Where has the time gone woah 😳 already 2024. My son turns 2 in two days 💙 😍 🤗 time has really gone by so fast. I can still remember the hospital experience, we both escaped a life and death situation. I can't believe how much he's grown and how empathetic and just how lovely he is. If he ever saw me in a bad mood he would come up to me kiss me, hug me and say mama nooo. At times he has even cried with me and/or tried to make me laugh etc. He is an incredible little boy and everyone praises him and wants to be around him. Hope Astrid is well too x

@@FamilyFreedom thank you so much for the wishes. He truly will have a fantastic birthday celebration spread over two days. Tomorrow his grandfather (my father) will be taking us out to celebrate his birthday with a few close friends. Then on the 18th we will have another celebration where some relatives and neighbours will be invited and my father will be placing the food/cake order and it will ve delivered just before the party starts. Also, his aunty who won't be present will throw another birthday party once she is available which may be in a weeks time or in the new year.

I noticed, when looking for Christmas decorations myself for our tree that the glass ones are always so much more expensive. Fortunately, at this time we are not looking for anything glass or breakable for our tree or home because breakable decorations and two year olds are not a good mix. The one problem I have found, granted I live in the US so this may not be a problem everywhere, is that I cannot find decorations that don’t have glitter all over them, and I can’t find affordable decorations that are not in the shape of a ball. I will reiterate I have a two year-old. His favorite things right now are ducks, cars, and balls. If I have any chance of keeping the decorations on the tree, I cannot put something that looks like a ball on the tree. 😂

That's a delightful and challenging Christmas scenario with a two-year-old! We know how you feel as Astrid is also 2 years old 😄 Glitter can definitely be quite the festive challenge, we have glitter on so many of our decorations too 😂 They need to start making toddler friendly decorations 😂

several years ago harrods ordered in to much stock at christmas and they started having a big sale before christmas.The decorations were really reduced ,we got quite a few that year and still have them .The prices at full price have to say I would not pay.But it was great fun at the time because you did not have to keep picking them up looking shocked at the price and putting them down lol

Harrolds reminds me of what my dad would say when we were kids sime places you are just paying more for the brand when you can get similar items that are just as good for cheaper at other places. If i lived in the UK i would want to go there just to get an ornament for my tree, i used to collect them as a child for christmas i would ask people to get a special ornament from other places.

Coming to you from Chester. Great haul and comparison. Have never been to Harrods,even though it's expensive, they have some different things and a good selection. With Poundland they also have some lovely things, just have to be there on the right day xx

I normally don't go into specialty expensive shops like Harrods because of the fact that I live on a budget. Here in the states, I have the following choices: In person shopping at places like Walmart, Target and General Dollar. I prefer online shopping because of the fact that free shipping is part of the purchase price, which is why I like both Amazon and Temu.

The novelty of Harrods is kinda fun, but with small nieces & nephews, it's totally impractical to buy their Christmas tree decorations right now. I also wouldn't want to spend so much on wrapping paper when it just gets ripped up. If I was to order something from there right now, it would probably be to treat myself to some of their chocolate or fudge.

Hiya I just went to Harrods they have a, loyalty card if you didn't know 💳 I went to spend my £5 discount.. Yes it's a great experience and you do get carried away with the price points ☺️🎁. Thank you for the content I love poundland too.. It just goes, to show in poundland you'd think £6 was expensive compared to harrods, where £10 seems cheap for an item. 💷😂😱.. Thanks, again loved seeing Harrods again.. I bought the VIP decoration for my daughters barchart maybe she can leave it out all year.. 🎉

U know branding is everything and something with the name Harrods on it is of course gonna cost an arm and a leg... Plus there definitely is a market for them especially in London. Granted I think they're a total rip off but if i got a gift from there id most certainly would be so happy. The price of a gift is irrelevant anyways.
