After doing concrete work for 45 years ,,,,always interesting watching Andrew and friend do it !! I cringe when watching but it seems to turn out fine ! Finished product looks great !!! Good job !
What a transformation, so satisfying to see everything dry and protected on a nice new slab. Also, it was cool to see you and Sam at the 4th of July parade, I was the one that yelled your name and Sam gave my two kids the little race cars. I love that old tractor you bring to the parade.
What a trooper that Samantha is - sloshing around in the wet cement with her knee crutch, working right along with the guys. She is what we call a real "keeper" down here in Arizona. Also glad to hear Andrew give her the credit for suggesting a proper upgrade instead of just doing a quick fix.
I agree, and to find a woman who can keep up with him, and do many of the wild thing's he does, not many out there. You can see they work well together, and are in tune. He should hold onto this girl. As a woman myself, i don't see many woman who build thing's, and work on machinery as i do, and i'm in my early 50's. My dad and grandpa had me doing all kinds of stuff at a very young age. My brother is much younger, but didn't have any interest in building, or fixing. Back when i was growing up, kid's were free labor lol, but it's good, gave me a strong work ethic. Those who know what i'm saying get it. I was also a cook, tv remote, house cleaner, bartender, gardener, landscaper, farm hand, telephone answering service, and coffee maker. G-d bless.
@@MikeBaxterABC Sam just posted a video the last few days of her back in the mountains and the roller died and had to jump off. then yesterday she posted a follow-up of her fixing her trailer and car from taking stuff up
I love how you both show how you make the adjustments to get the doors to fit. I feel like even the most seasoned carpenters would have a hard time getting a perfect fit for custom doors like this on the first try.
Nobody minds long videos when it’s full of great content. Watching Andrew’s video I’ve learned all projects require heavy equipment to get the job done right. Loved every minute, thanks. 😊😊😊😊
It's so cool seeing all the equipment and toys coming out of the barn and remembering some of the projects you shared with us over the years that you did to them! Too long since a last video! Good seeing the two of you working together
@@johndboranThat's not very old. Well when it comes to his videos, often there is footage that is over half a year old can tell when it's the wrong season. Must be recent then.
As a Dad, and have my kids grown up, it makes me happy to see the love & hard work of these 2 young people When I saw you making the dog prints, than Andrew, And than Sam, I was so warm with happiness Good too see you 2 working together again
Andrew cherish the moments with pops. He’ll look out there everyday & say “I helped my son with that upgrade” when folks visit and he did help. Keep up the good work. 15 years 6 months for lacy (sp) NICE!
Lacey is a lovely, sweet lady.🥰🥰🦮 Take good care of her at the end of her life. Don't let her go up stairs. She deserves to be treated like a queen.🥰🥰 God bless you, your family and your friends and your dogs. 🙏🙏🙏🦮🦮🦮
It's great to see Sam again, we missed her, she's mending her broken leg, also it was great to see your Dad again...BTW an awesome video as usual, Thanks for bringing us along for the ride!
@MikeBaxterABC she left before the first snow last year midway through the first quary site on the hill. So this is either giving her work while she heals. Or a rekindling of the relationship. I hope it's the second option, but he does lead a none standard life, that takes getting use to, let alone his numerous faults he has gotten into over the years. 😅 women do like to change a man.
Fredrick, Sam posted a great video earlier today on her channel. She worked with her dad on a project and it was great. Her channel is “Sam Weber” incase you didn’t know.
Cody is a smart doggo since he kept going around to see if the critter was trying to escape as him and Blue were digging. Your doggos are such good doggos and the amount of love you have for them is immeasurable.
Andrew I don’t think you will ever find another intelligent incredible hard working dedicated talented like Samantha. You both work and look so well together. Don’t let her go she is very special on so many levels.
Hell yeah I'm glad he's back Andrew have you been on break buddy we haven't seen you for a couple months you used to give us content every week or two now's every two three months come on brother we want to see more of you man we love watching your videos
@@AndrewCamarata Take your time Andrew! Editing is a long process but your videos would not your videos with your editing and your camerawork. Thank you so much for taking the time to do it your way and share that with all of us.
real good fix up and a big improvement. I like the big doors. something about your videos just makes them a lot of fun to watch. i always find putting dog prints into wet concrete very touching. if only our pets could always be with us. Blue is really filling out nicely. Good for Lacey on breaking 15, i hadnt seen her in a while. I hope you all are having a super summer. thank you.
I think they make a great team, although it may have been recorded months ago, I think there's still something there. I hope so as I like the way they work together.
It’s good seeing the dynamic duo back working together again. Amazed to see how big Blue has grown. Another terrific video, thanks for sharing this Andrew. Wishing you and your family a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather and restful evenings together with your furry kids. Peace
He never finishes anything and in 1 or 2 videos it still looks like a camping cabin. Most of his work has been moving rock. Sam may change that, but that could take years.
Awesome to see you using all the old equipment that started this channel. Seems like everyone has bought the new and best stuff lately on RU-vid. The old worn out stuff gets the job done. Really enjoyed this video.
Looks real good Andrew , you and Sam did an awesome job repairing and pouring a new cement floor/foundation. Sam is a real good worker! I hope that you two are still together. 👍
Y'all are such hard workers. It's so good to see y'all working together again! Samantha is amazing!! She did all that with that brace. I'd have trouble just walking with it!!! 💪🌟👍
A Big -BIG shout out to you, for acknowledging Sam as the one that suggested you level building and then pour the concrete for the floor. She definitely had a grand idea. Looks 1000% better and, with the very nice doors to protect the contents from the weather. Another Grand video. peace!
It was good to see you using the tractor again and the old Yanmar. Time with your Dad was nice too, I miss my Dad. Sam is a true worker, just like you. Major improvement on the shed.
Lovely to see your dad haven't seen him for ages. Hope he's keeping well. Equipment shed looks great well done to Sam. How she managed with the leg crutch hats off to her. See you next time. Xx
A really nice video showing teamwork , a bit of fun , educating people and the interaction with your Dad is lovely . When your parents get this old you must be with them as much as possible , i was a last child , parents died when i was in my 30s and 40s and i will have moments where i wish they could see how my daughters grow or how i could take the to the sea side. You are a good Man Andrew. Im happy to see Sam there and what a strong woman , she rocks. Very smart and good sense of how to do stuff. Love you guys!
It's a little rough but it'll do the job. I wasn't surprised when your form blew out, that's a lot of weight against an unsupported form. I commend your guy's work ethic.
@@tnolan3176when you only have 2 people working the rakes, wetter is better. Done a lot of concrete on my dad's crew. But, yeh he should have put kickers on the back wall too.
@@tnolan3176 Yes he overcharged that pour a bit too much! that was a 5" PLUS slump if I've ever seen one! Great for walls and footers, but a slab?? lol
Great project. Thanks to all for a very informative and entertaining video. Dad got his hands dirty, Sam is a killer peg leg mud slinger with great carpentry skills. Andrew moves equipment like a surgeon and is smart enough to listen to a better plan when it is presented. The dogs started excavation on the small shack so get a forklift and call the cement truck. Great job all around thank you all.
@@AndrewCamarata oh indeed, AC! everything brian said and then some. seeing this project in progress, the team work making the dream work, was not unlike the collaboration of two similarly minded and talented artists. each scene a bigger grin. so, as usual, we thank you, @AndrewCamarata! thank you sir!
Andrew and and Annie Oakley two old souls. Great team work. I'm still learning new things at 63. You are so smart. Such a wise young man. With so much knowledge of so many things. Like never giving up. I tell my nephews and nieces to watch your channel. Andrew's is giving out knowledge for free. On life respect / love and the power of common sense. Thank you. 26:57
So glad to see you and Sam back at it together again. She's a real gem and a good fit for you. Love that she is willing to do/try anything. I busted out laughing when I saw her hobbling around on her pegleg in the wet concrete. Another great video. It's been awhile.
Great job, Andrew & Sam. It's nicely done and will last for years. The tree climbing idea to get the drone was pushing the boundaries of safety in my opinion
Another amazing transformation. Taking an tired old shed and making it a very useful storage building. You kids are an awesome team. Looks like the bldg filled fast so maybe time already for an extension!!
You know bud you have come a long way since you started. Not to say that others don't know how or others cant do this kind of reverse construction but you know how and you do it. Plus you have acquired all the tools necessary to take on a job like this. I am proud to know of you and watch you tackle these kind of unusual projects. Plus every once in a while you do .... like install a radio with a chain saw.
Your gonna live long Andrew, I was just telling my wife it's been a while since you've posted, I told her your probably busy on a big project with the mountain property. Always a pleasure when you upload. Thanks for the entertainment!
I love when andrew's dad asks why the wood rotted out on that board on the roof, and then andrew says it's because it's made out of wood. The funny part was the tone in andrew's voice, because when he was building the castle, he talked a lot about how wood rots and can also be burnt to the ground, while the steel and cement will survive anything, especially the thickness of the steel on the roof that he welded on. The roof steel is so thick, he didn't worry about painting or sealing it, because it will take many year's for a hole to rust through that. That castle was made for the apocalypse. I like the stuff he builds, always fun to watch. G-d bless y'all.
Yet there are almost no unrestored concrete roads or pre 1970 steel bodied trucks commonly around. Steel rusts and frozen water eventually cracks concrete. Nothing in this world lasts forever.
Hi again. The garage vid was fantastic, credit where credits due. Well done. That outdoor garage at the castle? Will the expansion get a lot more of your equipment out of the weather? Or are you planning to expand the yard with more blasting? Plus the mountain projects, wow the possibilities are endless.🫡 Busy is always good! Best wishes Larry Perth (opposite side of the world to you)🙃 Western Australia
Just what the doctor ordered😊 great video brother as always. Just found your channel a few months ago. And you have really inspired me to just get to work. Do the task at hand and give it my all. Really inspirational man💯👊
Awesome vid! you guys make a great team! I might have suggested your plan too but gald you listened to Sam. Great work both of you. Hanging doors like that heavy is skillful indeed. Plus all the other stuff!! Great worl and a pleasure to see
Good work Andrew. Sure your pops is proud. And Sam is slaying it, hopping around with a broken ankle still shoveling concrete around. Thanks for sharing.
Many years ago my then girlfriends dad was had racing pigeons and his pigeon loft was built directly on the soil. He decided he wanted top raise it so I helped him lift it using bottle jacks as you have here. We raised the height by 750mm and made concrete plinths using plastics drums as moulds. I really enjoyed watching this project and it brought back memories from the pigeon loft project many years ago 🙂
