Clinton Moore showing us how he pours his concrete Lego blocks for his FMX compound . Awesome idea I would love to build a house like this one-day. 👌

I saw a concrete technician in the US at the world of concrete expo in Las Vegas with sectioned concrete blocks detailing the effects of over vibrating on agragate distribution and strength after various degrees of vibration using different vibrators I never ever realised it was so complex and critical. In the end for the concreter on the job in was in quick to the bottom and out slowly not much advice I know!

Here in NYC we call them mafia blocks! The mafia used to put bodies in them and then drop them into the east river.. now they are used for bulk heads on the shore line

Was always going to make form like those for extra concrete 👍

My dad keeps one in his dump just in case anyone ever has extra when we pour. Made almost 40 blocks so far this year. Hasn't paid a dime for any of the concrete technically speaking.

looks like 2nd guy pulling the timber out has a knee replacement, just like mine, not an easy thing to have in that kind of a job.

Stormbash you are exactly right he has had a knee replacement from riding a motorbike and he’s just helping for the day he didn’t really do much other than what you seen 👌 . There is two more parts to this video if you are interested in seeing more 🤙🏻

Concrete ninja must of been a bad fall off the bike, mine was osteosarcoma related. Sure, I’ll watch them too. Always like your videos. What do they actually call those moulds here in Australia (besides LEGO blocks), I see this shape block used everywhere, but not sure if they actually have a name?
@concreteninja

Stormbash I’m not sure what the name is maybe just concrete blocks different sizes a lot of the boys use them for their freestyle landing ramps to hold it up .

Too much vibrating.
@beserkpride
@beserkpride 5 лет назад
why lol? you think thats gonna blow out. why not spend the extra effort vibrating it to make sure it comes out right

All the stone sinks to the bottom, and makes the upper parts all sand. It's an art vibrating concrete watch how ninjas crew do it, its momentary. Vibrating the mould would have been an option.

A jones there is so many ways to do it and theories.. i would have done the needle and then used the needle on the mould aswell when i worked on the construction of the inpex gas plant in darwin the japanese engineers insisted we hold the vibrator in the same spot for 1min and then move up 500mm and continue the same method. these were 1000mm x 1000mm concrete columns 12 metres high. we could only pour 2m in height every 45min. so we would pour 2m on one column then pour 2m on another column then go back to the first column and do another 2m.. took hours obviously.

Way to much vibration all the rock is sitting on the bottom now.

Thats not true. I have 28 years of experience. concrete in this case is pritty dry so you should vibrate that much. Problem here is he raise vibrator way too fast. You should not raise that fast while not vibrate at the sametime.
