Fire Goddess is my favorite. She has the strength to forge her own path. We never have to accept the path laid out in front of us, we can always go our own way. 💜💜💜
But the entire time they did like all dif goddesses ,the fire goddess just ended the cycle to continue a prophecy of how life should be they were all different goddesses so they did go their own path they just all followed the same rules once they were there
Forest Goddess is annoyed of dealing with everything instead of discovering her potential and she was forced to forsake it (she rolled her eyes in annoyance) but follows the rules anyway because that's just how it is and told her daughter to do the same. Goddess of beauty was perfect the daughter that just follows everything she's been told as a result. She's sweet and kind but a perfect puppet they want her to be. Goddess of evil saw the signs of how flawed this system is and did her best to go against it and developed her powers and skills and they perceived her to be evil for being rebellious. She told her daughter how messed up the society truly is. Ice goddess grew cold and indifferent to the world because she saw how the society treated her mom and saw all their messed up society and beliefs for what it truly is. She told her daughter not to be dumb because she cares for her but was unable to show it properly because she'd became cold for too long as a defense mechanism. Fire goddess was angry at her mom for making her feel unloved. She's angry at the world for being as messed up as it is, but she refused to let all this anger control her the way her mom let it control herself (see how she holds her fire back) and it made her stop using her powers for a long time. Last daughter not growing up exposed to magic anymore took quite a long time to discovers it and was happy her mom encouraged her personal growth and discovery. Fire goddess was supportive in a way her own mom wasn't.

Out of all the goddesses, I can't help but think that the the goddess of beauty was really trying to be nice to hear daughter, but I think that the goddess of evil misunderstood her...... (Thankyou soo much for all these likes😳)
I kind of took that as a different kind of trauma. She experienced trauma from someone at some point and her mom said "that's just the way of the world, deal with it" that'd make the outcome make sense

Love that you didn’t choose to just…not have the final woman have a child. I’m glad there are versions that show someone can process their trauma and end it while also having a child of their own.

@@ryokami_needs_coffee It's not sad/hopeless to acknowledge the point of stopping. That is a lot of pressure for one person. Trauma and pressure to do something they no longer (if they ever did) have the spirit for. Some people have bad experiences with dogs, water, alcohol or people (in this case parents) and decide that they want nothing to do with those ever again (becoming a parent or becoming like their parents). It's still a respectable choice.

I try to understand all the nuances in a conversation (some opinions aren't worth considering...). If I realise that the other person is coming off a bit one-sided, I take the opposite side. Not to try to make them look stupid, upset or trigger them but so that they can hear the other side. Even if they don't agree (again some opinions aren't worth it.)
I love how clearly you show when the Fire Goddess realizes how badly she feels when her mother treats her like that, and then resolves herself to doing better for her daughter.
All of the goddesses use their magic angrily, and then their daughters pick up on their power quickly. while the fire goddess controls herself and her temper, allowing her daughter to discover her talent herself. That's amazing.

Goddess of Beauty: Becomes exactly how Momma wants her to be, but has suppressed feelings & thoughts. Allows her daughter to see the true nature of the world. Goddess of Evil: Hurt, frustrated, and angry with the world. Rebels against expectations & fights an everyday battle setting new standards. Goddess of Ice: Seeing how the world affected her mother draws cold as a survival mechanism. Refuses to allow words and people's actions to move her. Shows no regard to her actions. Teaches her child to watch, listen, and not react to such ignorance. Stupidity makes you a sheep. Goddess of Fire: Unable to get support & love from her mother, she decides to give it to herself. She makes her own path & is even supportive in every manner to her child. Shows her the evil, but also the good in life, and teaches her to carve your own body, kind, and heart. And supports to the very end
I mean, being nice or just NOT being harmful doesn't make you a good parent. Both of them made environments that ended up with their daughters being jaded at the world and cruel. The goddess of beauty was neglectful and that caused her daughter to grow up without strong morals. The goddess of evil was wrathful and was more interested in being strong than being a good teacher. The goddess of evil interrupts her daughter and doesn't let her ask questions and so she grows up without the ability to be caring towards her own child.

I love the goddess iterations and how they kind of follow on from each other! Like forest = beauty = evil = ice = fire = ? It's a cool way of looking at how generational powers evolve :) (idk if that was on purpose or not but I think it's neat!)

I love this so much and how they fit with the lyrics. The Forest goddess speaks on life, but how they're only trying to multiply and not live, this resonates with her daughter who becomes the goddess of beauty, in a world where everyone just wants to focus on multiplying theres one thing that helps ensures this, and that's beauty, that shallowness is just the way of the world, her child ends up questioning it while she gains her powers, but when its her time to be queen, what her mother taught stuck with her, "its never ending" she hates how her mother tried fitting in with beauty and going along with the shallowness of humans, she's evil now as queen, and wants humans to end, so when lecturing her own daughter of how frustrating it all is, she never truly pays much attention to her own kid, who becomes the ice goddess. She's not as passionate as her evil mother, but she understands they have a job to do, and how repetitive and useless humans are deep down, but her own little girl, doesn't take her teachings seriously, resulting in her being scolded. So when she becomes queen, she ends up being the opposite of her mother, and instead of continuing the teachings, she lets her own daughter learn for herself and gain her own powers without their influences.
Fire goddess broke the cycle…. And so her own daughter isn’t stuck in a false archetype, but free to explore and find her true powers. They are bonded by truth, and they are the only mom-daughter to leave the screen together ❤️
Am I the only one who feels like this looks like Greek mythology.... Demeter goddess of grain, gave birth to Persephone the goddess of spring... Persephone married Hades. And I don't know if they had a child but I'm assuming it would have been evil.

theory: the forest goddess's daughter, goddess of beauty probably got that from her mother's beauty. goddess of evil probably got that because the goddess of beauty was kind of evil sometimes ice goddess probably got that because her mother was cold as ice i guess fire goddess probably hated her mother so she became a goddess of the opposite of her mother's power
I find this sequencing absolutely beautiful! It shows how one behaviour paves way for one kind of trauma...like the god of forest is just nature and is unattached. To cope with that the daughter focuses on the beauty of the world. That leads to the daughter being evil at heart. The trauma of evil leads to the daughter being icy cold. And because the daughter of ice goddess has experience cold, she is warm and fiery. But she has learned to control her fire and is trying to cure the generational trauma that carries on! My interpretation 😂 don't have to pay attention 😂 but I love this and especially the sequencing!
