Finally!! Thanks Bobby!!! Came across and tested this car last Sunday and was totally awe struck! Bought a Forester 6 months ago and regretting. Ah well. Also tested a Zenix Hybrid (RM45k more) and there is no comparison with this car. Zenix felt so…. “Biasa”.
Got this car for 2 months now.. totally agree in your assessment of the car.. totally worth it for its price.. Lane keep assist is not good, hardly useable on daily driving, more of a gimmick i feel.. The jerking forward from a complete stop is more bearable when using ECO mode, probably due to lower throttle response.. i myself is a heavy footed person so was already used to it.. but need to drive sensibly when my kids are around especially when they always fall asleep in the car.. Space wise definitely smaller than X90.. but I'm only with a family of 4, so think of it as a 5+2 seater instead..
Yo Bobby, agree with everything you said. Test drove & AutoFOAMed one recently and was very impressed with it. Did you noticed the door windows are way thicker than even some German marques?

For someone that use 7 seater suv for a very long time, i realise immediately that this car doesn't do left hand to right hand drive conversion properly when i see the bigger part of folding 2nd row is on the left side.
@@bmagnus2729 well if that's the only thing that prevent it from being perfect, i wouldn't mind at all. anyway i don't feel it is putting accelerated wear to the clutch. it wasn't half clutching when it's creeping plus the jerky movement is mainly due to the auto hold releasing
Suv is smt respectable because of the off terrain capabilities but end of the day still prefer s classes over others end of the day you see the magic is that when u have tremendous portfolios and even a Ferrari is pocket change you just want smt relaxing like an s class or at the backed of an s class. This feeling not sure if anyone here understand if I don share these feelings than no one will ever knows because there are people in all walks of life smt prefer something else so depending on whereever you are and individual taste it’s hard to cultivate the same mentality knowing Malaysia is third world but still neighbour ya.
