@@MikeDrives I got a camaro 2019 it doesn't have too much noice but in manual it sounds pretty good cause it turn into 6 cylinders and in automatic my car turns into 4 cylinders

Niceee! Have you autocrossed/tracked yours yet? Recently, I saw this video with a guy in his V6 1LE at Laguna Seca get a sound violation for his exhaust being too loud, even though it was stock lol.

'16 - 18' models are between 20k to 30k on the used market. Ones without the 1LE package are less than 20k. But you'll want the 1LE model if you can find one.

dawgdammit I have a V6 1LE and have driven the BRZ plenty of times and honestly I’d say the Camaro is more comfortable and just a little more spacious. But if you are looking to mod the BRZ catalog is endless and you’d have a ton of fun piecing together the car. It’s all in preference

I own and regularly autocross a FRS, I personally think that the Camaro is a better value for the money spent. I love my car, but it is hard to argue with everything the Camaro offers. In the end, the choice is up to you. I would test drive both before deciding.

So i bought the topher’s brz. Loooooove it! No regrets. Never had never had more fun driving a car.

It depends how much you are willing to spend. I personally haven't driven the 5th gen, but the 5th gen will be cheaper compared to this V6 1LE. The general consensus is that the 6th gen (alpha platform) drives much better than the 5th gen. I've been trying to look for a 2017/2018 Camaro V6 with the 1LE package in my area, and they are very hard to find. Good luck with your decision!

I've driven both, owned a V6 1le as well. It's very sweet, I've driven M4, RCF Cayman S, you name it.. it's as good as a front engine rwd would behave, just scaled down in terms of limits. If you're a straight line guy, and love highway pulls, go 5th gen ss, but this sounds amazing and on a back road makes you learn and keeps up with almost anything short of exotics. Good luck!

Mtn Do definitely the 6th gen v6. It’s just as fast and the mpg is great. You don’t sacrifice performance or sound

Yes, exhaust is stock. The exhaust gets louder when you put it in Track Mode. I wish I had a better mic that day to capture that sweet exhaust note!

Canto Mike wow that is impressive because i so videos about the new Camaro 2018 rs and it doesn’t get that loud as yours that’s weird !!

The 1LE package comes standard with the dual-mode exhaust system, which gives you the louder exhaust. I'm unsure if you can get that dual-mode exhaust on a RS model. If you see quad exhaust tips, then that's a good indicator it has the dual-mode exhaust system. Also, this isn't my car. I wish it was!!!

Actually sound pretty good with a decent aftermarket exhaust

The soul of a Camaro is engine plus handling. And the 1LE satisfies the handling dept and then some!

The original Camaro had an inline 6 cylinder. It was a mustang competitor, which also had an inline 6 at the time. The original heart and soul of both cars were 6 cylinders, it was only due to their popularity that a V8 was introduced to both cars.

Man, that's a tough choice between the 1LE V6 Camaro and Ecoboost performance pack Mustang. When it comes to being efficient and a better daily use, I would say Mustang. But when it comes to more spirited and performance driving, I would lean towards the 1LE V6. Note the 1LE only comes in manual, so you may have a hard time if you commute in bumper to bumper traffic. But if you can afford the upkeep (gas, insurance, maintenance) of the V8, then by all means go for it! The Camaro 1SS used market prices look like a good deal, since they are dropping below 35k and some are hovering at low 30k (From what I noticed in my area and I'm in Los Angeles). You should definitely test drive both (see if you like the seats, ergonomics and etc) and see which one suits your needs the most. I wish you good luck man! @@MikeDrives Really appreciate the great, non-biased response! This weekend I have 2 test drives im going for, then afterwards i'll see how much I like the v8. I can get one and would obviously want the SS more, but just as a daily driver idk how much id appreciate it, clearly the gas mileage is not great, but idk HOW bad it could be. Where I live there isn't much bumper to bumper traffic at all, im pretty much out in the middle of no where and want only manual!

Layne Carbajal maybe not brand new but used, yes 😔. I’m just seeing everyone including teens my ages or younger living the time of their lives and I feel like I’m stuck right now is all. 😢 idk what to expect, just wish to have one of these tbh, you know?

@@SirenS550 i know what you mean, but be patient. Keep saving and you'll probably make that dream reality one if these days. Believe me, you DO NOT want a sports car as your first car. Just get a small boring sedan for now. You won't want to have to deal with all the compromises camaros come with.

Layne Carbajal yeah I wish I would’ve listened to my heart instead of trying to fulfill my dreams this early. I went and got a mustang V6 like a month ago thinking, “oh!!! Cheaper than the Camaro!!! I’ll Take it!!!” (My dad bought my Altima from me). And now, The insurance is killing me and life has gotten expensive ☹️☹️☹️. Biggest regret but I will get myself out of this, I got myself into it!!!!
