..du toits kloof pass is the old alternative to the huguenot tunnel.. 19km's of fast sweeps and some of the best scenery in the western cape, especially like now when the mountain peaks have snow.. it is bumpy, however..
..for a treat, we record this pass using a Jeep Grand Cherokee Track Hawk, a 6.2 litre supercharged V8 with 522kW/875Nm, 0-100km/h in 3.7secs, and on to a top speed of 290km/h.. we dont come anywhere near these numbers because of the inclement weather, but listen to it making a glorious symphony through the mountains...
