Freightliner cascadia has same transmission as new Actros, and same engine brake with 3 levels, also they use same controller for transmission and engine brake, trucks in usa don’t use retarder just engine brake, Cummins X15 14.7L engine has strongest engine brake, second is Detroit 15 (Freightliner) than Volvo and than paccar, new cascadia is my favorite truck too.

Also another problem in all mercedes tractor unit the battery seat where it is placed back side destroy battery cells in our africa roads cause of vibrating

Freightliner Cascadia in USA uses many same parts as new Mercedes Actros, cab and controls are almost same, they use same automated transmission in USA they call that transmission DT12 and it’s just one small step behind of IShift (I don’t like Volvo btw), new cascadia is one of best trucks for making money in usa, more reliable than Volvo and Kenworth, also more dealerships, easier and cheaper to fix than other brands in USA, uses less fuel than competition, but hard to buy one, wait is like 6-18 months for new one, prices are crazy to now 170-180.000 $ and up, up….
