Remember driving my 95’ Z28 to school. Me and my friends would all hang out at my car after school and listen to OutKast until all the buses left. Good times!
Wish i could say the same, there’s so many kids at my school if you don’t leave right away your getting stuck in traffic trying to leave the parking lot
man i wish i had a car to go to high school with. Wouldve made the COVID senior year so much better. I Always used to envy those kids whos parents bought them cars and shit. But I got my work van and in the process of getting my own whip so it aint too bad
i get it man i see underserving kids with well off parents buying them brand new cars just because they crashed their old ones, and to that i just say to each their own, not how i’m gonna raise my kids. Not only that but it’s much more rewarding when you get your whip by your owns💯
thank you dog. hands down best “sports car” daily for the money, pretty quick, hella reliable and it gets attention like a porsche, and yet i still get roasted for dailying an auto 😹
@@MattheMe yeah, don’t worry about it tho. People are weird man. I get flak too for driving an auto which to some lunatics isn’t how you “drive” a car the right way. do you man.
That’s a nice 37 🔥. I got the 25x 🗿. I don’t really regret tho, cool daily for driving , just kinda slow for racing. It’s my first car and I love it regardless.
i had one too before I upgraded to a 37. not a bad car at all. 0-60 in the 7s which is good for a daily. most non-performance or less powerful engine cars on the road are 7-10
@@burntchickenfingers4496 Yeah, it’s pretty good. I get compliments from people and also from 35 & 37 owners. You won’t even realize it’s a 25 until you floor it and see it’s not as quick as the other Gs 💀.
Oh z1 spread my cheeks for that bumper paint code and state tax was like 3k i say just find one on marketplace or join a z and g group and see if someone’s not selling one
@@sleuthed4529 I’ve worked jobs ever since I was 14 mostly detailing stuff, but it’s all about saving. I’m still 17 so i live with my parents and have no expenses, so you just need to learn how to cut unessacary expenses and just put it into a savings account so you can buy the car cash, I wouldn’t finance one of these personally. My biggest pieces of advice to you are 1. don’t get an X because owners end up regretting it and try converting theirs to rwd, and get a sport model. 2. Don’t settle for a base model like me cause i ended up paying thousands extra just to buy the goodies that the sports come with (paddle shifters, big brakes, trunk spoiler, lsd, better seats etc.) and Adult owned because these G’s get trashed on and are left unmaintained by their younger demographic.
@@MattheMe really appreciate the in-depth reply bro. I am also wondering what your opinions are on buying G's from fb marketplace vs dealerships and what to look out for in terms of issues with the g37s!
@@sleuthed4529 I bought mine on marketplace from an older gentleman who used it as his daily and kept it stock which is a good sign. Buying this type of a car from a dealership will cost you more in the long run and is generally unessacary imo given the car is moderately inexpensive. Since you are looking at newer ones, you may not encounter these issues, because mine is 09 with high mileage but Always ask the seller for the VIN and buy a carfax report! i’ve had people lie and say they don’t know much about the cars history and when you buy a vehicle report it becomes clear why (shows damage history, service history, previous residencies etc.) look out for power steering fluid leaking (means power steering is about to take a shit) sunroof drain leak, steering wheel wobble between 40-50 mph (front control arm issue) make sure A/c blows cold cause i just paid right under 3k to get mine fixed because 3 components need to be replaced when the A/c goes out on g37s, and never entertain anything without a clean title. trust me i know those deals look good.
Ive had 3gs . 08 g35 sedan 5speed vq35hr , 08 coupe vq37vhr 5speed, and 12 sedan 7speed vq37vhr. I still got the coupe and i bought a q50t. Almost settled for 2015 q50 but i had that engne since 08.
That’s crazy we gotta pay for parking passes but everyone just knows that’s My spot, and i park there to be able to leave the parking lot before the traffic starts and the salvage titles start crashing into eachother and cutting eachother off
@@oi-uf8vy op even said he wanted the manual. It’s the true “driver’s experience” and allows you to be more connected with the car - the reason we enjoy driving
I have a g37s coupe myself and it’s 6MT it’s just better bro u actually feel like your driving the car like your one with the car plus it makes the exhaust sound better bc u can shift and downshift whenever u want
I'm watching this because im getting a gv80 my junior year and i just can't hold in my excitement. I mean everyday i look at pictures of the Genesis and imagine driving to school with my sister 😭😭😭 I CAN'T WAIT OMGGG (edit: nahh I saw your face on the window at the end you're SMOKIN HOT)
Not all of them, some models are prewired for them some are not. Check your wiring before buying most companies wont refund due and make a disclaimer about checking wiring first. Not difficult at all, just some plastic trim and a couple bolts
I have had my g37 for 6 years now and buddy trust me, it might be a little faster than the Lexus auto, but you'll begin to hate the way it shifts once you have driven some German cars
Jatco automatics from what I've noticed do a pretty good job if you ring out the gears and flat foot it from a dig but don't respond well when short shifting or flooring it in a roll
@@rayvettevlogs It is NM, I don’t know why people hide their plates and i don’t feel famous enough that people are gonna wanna seek me out like that so i just don’t
