35mm f/1.8 -- 50mm f/1.8 -- 85mm f/1.8 ---- These three are generally the best prime focal lengths used in street photography. I personally use a 50mm f/1.8 and I really like it. The lower aperture really helps to get smooth and creamy backgrounds behind your subjects
@@reidd8334 What about this Sigma 30mm F 1.4 ? i dont like changing lenses at all. Is it good for everything...portrait, landscape, streets and everything?
The kit lens is good enough for a street photography. Get used to it first and then you can decide which prime lens suits your own style the best. Happy shooting!
