Okay this was awesome. Subscribing to you in hopes of seeing another (and longer) upload next year! Awesome stuff. I live in Norway, we'll never see anything like this here.
the doors are ripped off so i'm sure that's a pretty big air leak. also here n the midwest when the air lines rust away or the compressor tank and it can;t be fixed anymore, the bus gets sold off for parts.
It was likely something that happened to the engine or transmission when he was hit at 2:50. These busses have emergency bypasses on the front door that lets the air out of the ram that opens/closes the door and shuts a valve on the supply line coming from the tank. I would imagine the alarm had something to do with the fact that the dash was lit up like a Christmas tree, not the air system. I would imagine the supply line to the door was probably capped off anyway
When you switched the bus into park, the parking brake automatically applies. You need to shift the bus out of park and then hold in the parking brake.
@@ryanbarker5217 Some of the shifters have a parking brake on the hydraulic buses. I forgot sometimes they didn't because the one I drove had the parking gear. Rewatching, yeah it looks like he shifted into neutral. I'm used to slamming up the gear shifter for park because it will automatically apply the parking brake as well. I would not get this confusion from air brakes lol.
