I got 2nd place on a race, I was in the lead but was very slow on the turn and that costed me 1st and I was literally about to cry because I trained so hard
@@Noobgd197 School doesn't mean anything. This comes from the Top 1 student throughout my whole school life. Nobody ever managed to take me out of my spot (yes I graduated last year). You aren't smarter because you are the first, second, third. You aren't dumb because you can't reach those places. Don't worry.

just dont listen to them, i had that treatment at school they mocked me because i lost but i didnt listen to them competition is an upper place but studying normal lesson is lower place. just dont care about them they will just be your man not your boss as long you are not crazy
Second place always feels worse then third place. When you get third place, you're happy you made it in, you were inches from not getting into the top 3. But second place just feels like you weren't good enough, you gave your best and there's still one person who will be two steps ahead of you...
To me, i just think to myself, whats so bad about being second? but when i remembered the time in grade 4, i cried when i got 2nd place. it kinda hurts so muchhh
I got second place once I was fighting for 1000 dollars in an esports event I scored a bicycle kick and hit the bar I lost 5-4 I was depressed for like a month
I was always the top student in my studies. Then I became second place when we had a regional exam, all because the examiner didn't grade my paper fairly. In reality, the exam was easier than what we do in our classes, and there were subjects where I should have gotten full marks. (In fact, we compared the exams between the first-place student and me, and it was clear that my paper wasn't graded fairly.) And because of this, I couldn't enjoy the holiday at all. I kept remembering the effort I put in and the look of disappointment on my mother's face because she knew how much I stayed up and worked hard. My teachers were also hoping I would get full marks in their subjects, as they spared no effort in teaching me, just like my classmates. Even though I always tried to hide my feelings and show that I was satisfied with my effort (literally, even if I had studied more or worked harder, nothing would have changed because the exam content was things I already knew and were easy for me), I still cry every night when I remember this huge failure and the fact that the first-place student is living my dream. Literally, I spent the whole year dreaming and praying to God that I would get first place, but unfortunately, things turned out the way they did.

As Walter Hagen once said *”Nobody remembers who came in second”* As the first you are the best of everyone as the third you were lucky enough to place and as the second you are just a shadow of the first
1st- You are working so hard and finally did it(work hard for the strongest) 3rd- you are working hard and finally get a achievement(work hard for a achievement) 2rd- you work so hard but yet, you still need to work harder to even get the best achievement(work hard for losing the moment)
I cried too when i've got 2nd place on game at school,no one noticed me crying and mad so i kicked my bottle if water and my teacher saw me that i was crying.😢 WORST FEELING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD
I can relate so much to this. Every year, my school would hold similar to a spelling bee, but with geography. I studied and studied. It came down to me and one other kid. I lost on a question that I didn’t even know I had to study. It felt like I studied for nothing

Wtf w the people who underestimate the effort of 2nd place, i would believe it if its 3rd but 2nd? And those edits of the atletics crying for her 2nd place its because they truly thougt they'll become the 1st because they put it all, its a big advance to be on 2nd place
History I went to the fight and it turned out that I took second place because the opponent was a student of the judge and I saw that the person in third place was happy that he was in the top three, the first was happy that he was the best and I was crying on the second that I lacked two points but although I threw him a deflection and had to win well no one cared;(😢😢
Its like when you give it your all and you think you worked more harder than others and thinking you will get first but you always get second no matter what
