Since I’m seeing tons of comments talking about life advice, I’ll give my own too. I turned 18 around a week ago, and i am heading to college in a few months just like most people would (to study medicine in my case). If i were to give one word of advice, it would be to take things slow. The world moves fast, and it never hurts to just stop and take a breath. Take in your surroundings and notice the people who are there for you, and the people you love. Enjoy them while you can. If you are going through something, just think of those people and how it’s maybe not as bad as you picture it. If you have no one to think of, maybe it’s better that way for now, until you find the right people/person. If you are reading this, please take care.

Dreams can mean anything and benefit anyone, your dream can be selfless such as to own a house so your family can finally have a place to call their own, your dream can be selfish such as to create video games because they are your passion, your dreams can be both, these are both my own dreams, and I will pursue them with all my heart. It makes the shitty job, sleepless college nights, and research/self-teaching all the more worth it. You'll have a goal to keep you pushing no matter how hard life gets and if you achieve your dreams then move on to the next, you'll always have something to cling to in life whenever you start to feel aimless. Just take your time. Has long as you work and are motivated to reach your goals you'll make it. It might take a while, but in the end you'll look back on everything and just be happy. I know it sounds so basic, but it's the truth. Always take in consideration the ones who care for you and love you. They might not always be by your side and it's fine that's just how it goes, everyone has their own perspective on life and their own goals. Just do something to help the world in your own way and it'll come to you. Care about the world, for it'll be gone one day.
Thinking about my own future, i really lived in japan peacefully looking at the sky was so beutifull, cleaning my own apartment, cooking myself, and work very hard, and learning alot nor how to speak japanese, and learn hoa to communicate to others wasnt very not that bad. As everyone giving advice, I advice from you guys. I'm 17 and want to succeed in Life. I'm doing self-improvement and good habits from 16. From July 2023, I got betrayal and also my family issues start to arise. I was filled with depression,hate and anger. I grinded so hard. I was relentless, Ruthless and mentally strong. I set my goal to become the greatest in my city. I think that I achieved that 30% but from April 2024, The anger,hate started to fade and I started to become kind. Then exams come. I give exams. I did great. After that in whole May, the anger and hate completely fade away. I progressed so much because of this fuel. I did great in physique and also give exams like I wanted. But now This chapter of life is gone, I have to enter in practical life. I want to achieve more but the fuel inside of me faded. I become more calm. I start to think more about life. I also don't get the primal feeling I used to have. Can someone tell me what is happening with me ? Is this is the part of human development
Im 17 aswell. Rn you are empty, you no longer have rage as your fuel! This is a very confusing time as you were so laserfocused on your goals. But, now you can look on the brightside! Since you have no more fuel, you can fill yourself with anything you want! The only limit is finding what brings you joy and what you wanna stick with. This is hard and you are young with it feeling like the world is looking at you expecting you to have a decision by 18, however, you must give it critical thought and enjoy it all bit by bit! Remember, take time for the little thing you take for granted, since I gurantee when you are comfortable in your career and life 10yrs from now, you will look back on 17 and miss certain moments that came with this time period! Were giving out advice so heres my bit. Just started uni. Im 19. Literally failed all my classes this semester. But, Ill do it right next year. Ill keep doing it till something good comes my way. So yeah. Go through the motions, laugh with other people, stay happy out there. Doing nothing all day is so so much worse and its borderline torture. but doing work with other adults by the time were 30 sounds more reasonable to me then walking around aimlessly on weekdays across my neighborhood.

Advice from a 26 year old, Appreciate what you have and who's in your life but I urge you to do activities that you enjoy you enjoy. People spend so much time trying to please others they never know who they are go run, paint, dance, just have fun responsibly and don't let people take advantage of your kindness....., don't drink to much, try to end relationships in a peaceful way don't lead anyone on and whatever they get into next in life wish them luck. Approach things and people with an open mind and don't be afraid to say no and don't hold malice in your heart.
