POV: Wildcat 5K 60fps DEFUNCT ROUGHEST Wooden Coaster / CLOSED 7/31/22 Hersheypark, PA 

If there's one thing anyone's gonna miss about this ride, it'll be the seal noises on the final brake run. R.I.P. Wildcat (1996-2022)

But the noises he’s making 😂😂😂😂. I feel like that’s how I sounded a few months ago when we rode it. Just grunts and oofs and ughs LOL! So happy this thing is getting RMCd. It will benefit the park and coaster enthusiasts!

With an RMC conversion, Hershey will be one of the best parks in the world. Fahrenheit, Great Bear, Skyrush, Candymonium, and RMC'd Wildcat. Outstanding top 5 and gives the park yet another airtime machine. It'll be interesting to see what magic RMC can work and how big Hersheypark decides to take this...

I don’t hate this ride. It’s rough, but that makes it comically fun.

This was actually my favorite coaster at Hershey when I last visited the park in '08. Now when I go to any amusement or theme park, wooden coasters are usually a skip for me. My back can't take their roughness anymore.

RIP Wild Cat you won't be missed. Your new layout is amazing and can't wait to visit this year once it's open. It's a bit rougher then the Boss at six flags st.louis.

Naa the roughest wooden roller coaster is Hellcat at my hometowns park, Clementon Park. Wouldn’t be surprised if you never heard of it lmao

I'm lucky I have an insane pain tolerance, so this ride didn't hurt lol. It is extremely rough but it wasn't painful for me, though I can definitely understand how most find this too rough

I honestly will not miss this headache inducer. I'll take the Comet and Lightening Racer over this any day. RMC do your thing! I've riden Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens and it's safe to say we're in really good hands with them giving Hershey Park their first.

This is my home park and I as much as I remember and enjoy riding Wildcat growing up, I really had to talk myself up to getting on this the last couple times. As rough as it currently is, it really sucked all the enjoyment out of riding it. I'm really excited to see what it becomes!

I actually enjoyed this one, but I like Grizzly too so I suppose I like getting beaten up a little. I am excited for the new creation they are making with the old structure, though. They should figure out a way to incorporate the seal noises into the new ride.

Hershey park confirmed on twitter that wildcat will permanently close on Sunday, July 31st. I can’t believe after all these years wildcat will finally get rmc’d! I wonder what the name will be. Maybe “the wildcat” or “uproar” Or “ironCat” or something I don’t know. What makes it even more believable is that Hershey park said “any suggestions on what we can do with 3,100 feet wooden coaster track” and RMC themselves replied saying “we have a few ideas.” So ITS HAPPENING GUYS!!

I love roller coasters, this is probably the one exception. Glad that it’s finally getting the upgrade it badly needs. Rode it a couple of times when I was little before I learned to avoid it if I didn’t want a migraine (the only coaster that has ever given me one).

I rode this thing once back in 2013 and swore that unless it was retracked in some form I would never ever ride it again. Maybe I'll give it another go once it's been RMCed

I rode this coaster the year before it closed and even though it jackhammered me kinda I will miss it but wildcats revenge is definitely better

There's ONE ride that I consider worse than this. Its Grizzly at Kings Dominion. Jesus Christ one of the valleys jerked me so hard I got a headache. I talked to some people before getting out. I waited for them to get off after the next train and when they did they said both of them bumped their heads on the same valley. But never the less, sad to see the first GCI down go the dust but all hope goes to the future. I hope this closure coincides with the "Darker Nights are coming teasers" as one of the teasers used wildcat footage. Great Video! I got back from Hershey a week ago and won't be able to go back to Hershey until next year. Glad to have gotten a last ride on this. CHEERS TO TWISTED TWIZZLERS

I wonder why this ride is so rough compared to Lightning Racer which is just four years younger. It was very rough even when I first rode it in 1996.

This ride gave me a huge headache and I ended up going back to the hotel and got sick later on. Karma than caught back up to this ride 😂 GOOD RIDDANCE

first time I rode this coaster was 2 weeks ago. we stopped on the edge of the lift hill for a good 4 minutes and then we went off. my sister flashed the entire ride because it was so wicked.

When they convert wildcat I think they should keep the sign and put in the national roller coaster museum or the Hershey history museum so a part of it can still be alive since it was GCI’s first coaster

I got 2 rides on Wildcat in row 11 this year on June 7th and 8th. If this thing we're at Kings Dominion, it'd be their 5th best ride.

I rode this once in 2018 on the second last day of 7 days straight of riding rollercoasters starting at Cedar Point and heading east... I can't remember a single thing about it other than everything hurt after that many days of coasters lol

Layout looks pretty intense wish they did a retract on it to make it more smoother and more enjoyable for the first GCI built

Ill be sad to see this ride go even though it was in bad shape. It was fantastic but Hershey didnt give it the care it deserved. Wish GCI would retrack it like Ghostrider. ill keep an open mind on RMC as I dont dislike their rides I just prefer wooden coasters.

I went on this on New Year’s Eve last year and I felt that it wasn’t rough and that it was just bouncy and that it shook me a little bit but it was fine for me

Everyone always buries the SHIT out of these rides whenever it's announced they're closing/getting the RMC treatment. To me, it's like laughing at a person as their casket is being lowered. Ride might have been rough but it did have its' absolute die-hard fans. Me? I was hoping I'd get to experience that insane bounciness...at least just once. The fact that I'll never be able to experience it now kinda sucks. Just do good work, RMC. Like always.

This coaster wasn't anywhere near the best in the park but it had its moments. I agree that it's way to rough and riding it become a low priority for me. I don't know how many will agree with me but I think Comet is by far the best Woodie in the park this and Lightning Racer can't compare

This thing looks awful. The turns and valleys look to be particularly brutal with lots of shaking and jackhammering.

I wish they would have Titan Tracked the really bad spots and let stand as is... RMC aka Ruin My Coaster is eating up all the woodies and while some are bad they still have more charm than most of the steel offerings
