pro tip for armies (cheats might be included) get army with all spaces full untill teir 3 and teir 4 needs to be artillery now and blast them weak countries
Tip for USSR ( and most of the countries) : you don’t have to care for army until 1937-1938. Spend first 1-2 years of game building civs and fortifications as USSR. Then , start building military factories. You don’t have to hold all the territory , make a defence line on the other side of Dnepr(google where this river is). And then build 3 level fortifications on the other side of Dnepr, and build 5 level fortifications in places where Dnepr ends. And yep , just wait until US joins war and Germany will loose all power fighting with your fortifications. Good luck!
I just set up on the Molotov line and the Germans never break it, main thing is logistics and change your doctrine to fire power and add AA to your templets and 1 artillery battalion and invade turkey in 36 which allows you to invade Romania and set them up as puppets
this is a very strange game. the borders of the states at the emergence of the German Reich were completely different, and some states in general appeared only after the collapse of the USSR
you can very easily hold along the river after molotov, just build forts on the 3 locations that can be attacked by 3 sides and build good air, then you just get surgical with tanks
I just set up in the Molotov line and the Germans just throw millions at me and die then in 44 I counter offensive, key thing is logistics and defensive templates and the Germans will not push you back at all
