I've started running Sombra to hack hogs during their heal. They switch off pretty quick. Same with the Doomfist players. I just had how much of a resource sink he is to play against.

As a Junk main, taking down a Sojourn requires planning a mine-jump, good positioning to deal with her cooldowns and using the team, or just going YOLO and trying to take her down before she slides out or gets her 1-shot. You can definitely make it work, but depending on the situation it can be difficult. Taking down an Orisa solo requires a whole plan to lead and trap her in a closed space, use ricochets, and inevitable go into a 1v1 where her spear can end the game. It’s hard, but it’s very possible, and if she gets reinforcements they can get hit by the splash damage. Honestly it’s a fun fight. Planning a Hog trap literally can go perfectly according to plan, and he will either kill me or I will have to mine jump out before I die, and at the end of it he’ll never be below 25% after emptying my ammo, catching sometimes 2 traps, using mines so he doesn’t land hook, and then he’ll just get back to full because of course the healers want him alive. It’s so stupid. And it won’t matter unless I have a whole team with me because unless I have a Baptiste or Kiriko keeping me from dying in 1-2 hits, it won’t make a difference.

Yeah that pin onto the Reaper was immaculate, and it doesn't even reward a kill. He just ghosts out, doesn't even need help to survive it.

Nah, rein pin is one of the worst abilities in the game, for the amount of risk involved, it has to be high damage or its barely worth it. 225 isn't enough, just make it 300 again, ffs. And 100 damage firestrike, that way IF you can potentially hit two shots on the same squishy, BEFORE they get any heals, that's an insanely high skill maneuver, and you should deserve that kill, especially if you hit them through a window.

I think tweaking the numbers is not the solution. In this state, they need to give him a soft or total rework. He Still needs to keep his character but also be able to tank. I personally would lower his damage a lot, give him 2 hooks and give the breather maybe a team utility like JQs shout

Against Sigma, I'd say anything that can get past him and deal with his backline (WInston, Doomfist, D'Va are good examples). And when it comes to Hog, ignoring him and go for his supports is by far the best counter, but if you really need someone that maybe has some counter measures to his kit, then D'Va, she can eat good portion of his ult as well as the left click he does when he combo someone (preventing his one shot) with her right click.
