also I wanna add, Emma I am so glad you kept in that clip of you talking about the rabbit hole of comparing yourself to your body 3 years ago, because I do the exact same thing and its so sad :( but I just try to think that in a few years if I keep doing this to myself, I'm gong to look back at this time of my life and regret caring so much about how my body looked, so it helps me stop caring. Emma and anyone else who struggles with this, you're not alone

@@sluciah10 This is so true. The rabbit hole of over thinking and comparing your body whether it's to your old self or others can be so exhausting and frustrating. Sadly it's so normal, and yet one of the most dangerous things to do mentally. Just remember that bodies change and that's okay and just because your body is changing it doesn't mean it's for the worst or that it's a bad thing. Body change and it's 100% normal as long as your body is capable of doing everything it needs to then your body is perfect. 🫶🏻

@@sluciah10 I think a lot of us forget that especially for women our bodies change so drastically and none of it is bad it's just different than what we're use to seeing. We go through puberty and our bodies change and continue to change for years through that. Then in early to mid 20s our bodies change from teen bodies to women bodies it's something that's not talked about but it happens and I think that's where a lot of us who thought we were over body dysmorphia get hit with it 2x over. Then we also (if we choose to) go through the changes of our bodies if we get on birth control same as if we choose to get pregnant. But then also our bodies changing after pregnancy. Sadly we have soooo much normal things that change our bodies. It makes it so hard with acceptance and loving our own bodies because it's so hard to always see it changing. But change is normal think of a tree. Trees start from a seed grow into a stem, then are tiny trees, then they grow and grow and grow forever they never stop growing and changing. Places that get cold trees leaves even change from green to colourful to no leaves over the winter. They never die, they never stop growing, and they're always beautiful and there's nothing wrong with them in any stage of their growth. We're the same... we change we grow and we're also beautiful, capable and there's nothing wrong with us throughout all of our stages of growth and changes. Take care of yourself just focus on your overall health, take care of your body and your mental health those are what's important in life 🫶🏻
