@@PourReactions Yes, Milo said it first (she Jinx's every operation) and then Vi called her a Jinx and said that Milo was right. I don't play the game, but there are images online of Powder's diary entries from the game which Powder wrote after the events of episode 3 in Arcane. It's brutal. There are several entries giving insight into why she now goes by Jinx instead of Powder. There are a couple instances where Powder had been written but crossed out, statements like "Powder killed Vander Powder died that night too", and the very last entry includes "Sister said I was a Jinx that's all I am now". There's other stuff too like "Broken" written multiple times in a row, "I'm sorry", "All I ever wanted was her and she left"... Did I mention it was brutal? 😰

Remember, vi was only 15 with an impulse control problem. And then she realized what she did and was upset with herself and needed to separate herself from Powder before she did something else. She knew she needed to cool down but probably didn't think she was still in danger after the explosion.

Fun Fact: The three drunk dudes celebrating Progress Day on the airship at the beginning are the three voice directors slightly aged down, the violinist Heimerdinger listens to is Ray Chen, the legit violinist for the show as well!

Silco was preparing for war, or at least some turmoil, but then his lab exploded, his progress suffered a setback while Piltover suddenly started playing with hextech. bad timing, but he lost the upper hand with his shimmer-drug. so he started to use the hex-gates for his own benefit (smuggling of shimmer)

everyone misses the gatling - Jinx carries it over her shoulder like a hipster bag. as for whether it was worth it - can't really say without spoilers. attitudes will become apparent.

Love the "no no no no no!" remark as the credits rolled lol. You know a show is damn good when you're actually pissed off when you feel like the episode ended too early lol. All too often I've been watching shows where I find myself looking repeatedly at the time left bar just because I'm anxious to get it over with. I'm looking at you: Star Wars live action on Disney Plus.

Netflix isn't the producer of the show, it's Riot - Riot is the company responsible for League of Legends, Netflix didn't have any influence in the prodcution-process of the show except for that they are mentioned - Riot and Netflix only got a deal that the series is presented on their platform and Idk maybe Netflix also supported them a bit financially 👌

The only thing Netflix does here is distribute the show. Riot created and funded the show entirely in house. Netflix just takes the final product and streams it.

That wasn't Vi on the airship. It's deliberately misleading, but the young woman with pink hair looked just enough like Vi to trigger a PTSD episode in Powder/Jinx that makes her see Vi's face initially. We can then see flashes of the woman's actual face -- the eye color and nose are different, and as you noticed, she's too short. Also, Vi would likely have done rather more than just stand there. 😉 It is very safe to say Powder/Jinx never processed her trauma properly.

Piltover does indeed have a steampunk aesthetic as well as an art deco aesthetic and Zaun has a chempunk and art nouveau aesthetic. It`s the same way in the Games. Piltover is based on Paris and Great Britain during the Industrial Revolution whilst Zaun is based on a mix of Los Angeles in the 1990s and Chicago in the 1940s but even more polluted, impoverished and crime-ridden and London`s East End in the era of Charles Dickens.

Just FYI, the girl with the pink hair on the ship wasn't actually Vi. It was a different girl that Powder (Jinx) initially thought was Vi. You're not the only reactor to be confused on that point, though.

Riot produces this show and Netflix on ditributes it. Because Riot produces this show entirely in house, they also own all of the music of this show with the exception of Enemy because thst is owned by Imagine Dragons. And because Riot doesnt like to copyright claim any content they own you can play the music in Arcane as much as you like as long as its not Enemy (because Imagine Dragons owns that) and doesnt show too much of the visuals. Because the visual will get you hit by Netflix. But you could play any other song front to back with no problem as long as you dodge Netflix.

Yeah when Silco took Powder in, she changed her name to jinx because that’s what Mylo and Vi called her. Also by this point I don’t think Silcos plan was worth it. He said he wanted to try and take over the top side but I also think he wanted the throne of the under city over Vander, which did work for him.

@joshuaharris3976 it's strange too. Like on one hand I'm glad that ppwder/jinx found her groove and her inventions now work. On the other hand she also seems kinds crazy and is feared by others. Even her own people. And....and...i can see how she can be a fan favorite

Regarding it being Vi on the airship - just consider why would Jinx just go shoot her like that, regardless of everything else. And as i said last episode: told you to remember Caitlyn! Also: jayce and Caitlyn? Just... no. Regardless of the age gap between the two (he's like 8 years older than her and knew her when she was like 15/16) there's a much bigger reason why it's just no. Like really no.

@@PourReactions no he's 24 when he's doing the research, and being sponsored by Caitlyn's family. She is the same age as Vi, so around 15/16. So it would be really weird for them to have that relationship (it's more siblings), regardless of anything else that may come into play.

Funnily enough, Silco`s VA(Jason Spisak) voiced Joker in "Batman Hush" and Wally West/Kid Flash in "Young Justice" Seasons 1 and 2.

@@PourReactions He also played a similar albeit more comedic yet no less competent evil businessman type villain named Sillico in the 2016-2019 Powerpuff Girls reboot which was not as well received as the original series to no one`s surprise.

@@PourReactions In The Game, Jinx was described by her designer Katie De Sousa as being based on a mix of Tank Girl, Gollum, The Dark Knight`s Joker(With another villainous champion Shaco, an evil jester type character being based on the Batman The Animated Series Mark Hamill Joker)and Helena Bonham Carter`s characters in "Fight Club" and "Harry Potter".(Her having Tank Girl and Joker`s wiry build and scrappiness, Gollum`s raspy voice, habit for personifying inanimate objects(The Ring for Gollum, Fishbones her rocket launcher and her other weapons and stuffed animals for Jinx) and schizophrenic/DID traits, Dark Knight Joker`s psychopathy and love of chaos and destruction as well as penchant for boredom, lipsmacking and fidgeting when nothing is happening .Arcane Jinx has Helena Bonham Carter`s sultry, smoky voice and irreverent punk girl with a bit of an unhinged edge like many of her characters.
