Wow great # for the MM!! Not as excited for this series as 14 but still ended up caving for the TG preorder. Personally I would hang them together, just makes more sense. Will get back when it arrives, take care peace.
I like that they numbered the decks (except for the ones that they missed the sticker on, like my Cab). The Tommy G looks great stained rather than dipped. I too wanted the shape McGill that they went with. No one seems to have mentioned it, but the Mountain usually has a background to the graphic that they didn't do on this one. I can't seem to not buy a Cab deck. Ever. The Mullen isn't my favorite due to the freestyle shape, but this one looks killer. The blue is deep and the metallic is has in it makes it look super lux. I didn't have any issues getting a complete set and duplicates of a couple of them. Wall space is an issue for me too, but I rotate decks from time to time. If you're into cars, the Petersen Museum in LA is one of the best on earth, and they never have more than maybe 20% of their collection on display at any given time. I love all of my boards, so I try to give all of them some wall time. Those guys really hooked you up and put in the effort to show that they care about their customers.
That's a great idea to rotate the collection...keeps things interesting. I've mixed up a bit but not removing some for a time and adding others...I like it. Beefer's was awesome...way beyond the call of duty. Congrats on getting the decks you wanted.
Rad video as usual. The stokes from the shop are brilliant. Although the numbers to the uk were very low I managed to score a full set on pre order. In my opinion the best set since series 10.👊🏻

I still got my original Powell Peralta Ripper and Tommy Guerrero and Hawk. My Guerrero is near mint only skated with it a few times i loved the deck so much as a kid and teen i hung it on my wall and didnt wanna ruin it and just skated with my other boards. Wish i would kept my others too had a McGill and a Gator
When this series was announced I wasn’t really feeling it so decided to give this year a pass. Then I got an email from my local skate shop about pre-orders and because I get all my stuff through them they gave me a $30 credit towards any series 15 deck. Decided at the last minute to grab a Hawk and it’s lucky I did because I grabbed the last one. Being in New Zealand we get very limited numbers of the BB reissues. Most stores only get one or two of each deck and the Hawks are almost unicorns.
Wow...that's killer the stored offered a $30 credit...makes the buy a little easier. Congrats on the Hawk...you'll always get your money out of it especially if they're that rare in New Zealand.
@@80slove Yeah. Like you with Beefers, when you have a good rapport with a store they tend to be very generous so I couldn’t pass up the offer. It’s always interesting to me to see what boards are the most popular with each BB series. Hawks always go first which isn’t surprising and even though they made 6000 of them this year, that’s still not a lot globally if you think about it. Usually the Mullen is a close second but this year it seems to be the Guerrero and McGill that are in hot demand after the Hawk.
I don't think I've ever caught the Hawks go up, always too slow on my sites lol. Doesn't bother me though as really just a TG and LM fan but yeah ikwym. We just have to be patient for a while now.
@@bpowick I agree with you that the TG and MM seem to be next on the list. The Mullen runs were initially quite a bit smaller than the others so it's hard to get your hands on earlier series Mullen cause they only released 500 of them.
@@seekah1 I think your gonna see Hawks hitting different market places soon. People bought lots of extras to make some cash but the market has changed...I think they'll be selling them at a loss.
Nice pickups man! It's crazy out here in California shops have so many extra. Not as many sales this year except for the Hawks, but I agree the color ways look sick!
I bought the Tony Hawk and the Lance Mountain. Both look amazing (with holographic stickers and no blem at all). My favorite is the Mountain, this red color incredibly pops under the light, much better "in hand" than on picture. And I am still hesitant about getting a Guerrero. The ones I saw were not so good (yellow stain much too clear so you see the wood veneer too much !). If I find a nice looking one, I will buy it. And I agree with you, this series 15 is one of the best made untill now ! It is so much better when each deck has his own colorway (mixed). Anyway, it would be difficult to do worse than the Series 13, the army green was really awful ! 😅🤮
Congrats on the Hawk and LM. I've thought about the Mountain...it does look fire...we'll see what happens. I love the mixed colourways too. Amen on the 13s...they grew on me a bit but have to be my least favourite of all 15 Series.
My McGill arrived and really happy with it! Threw the bag and info card in the bin also removed that sticker from the top of the deck as all i care about is the deck none of that other nonsense.
@@80slove At the moment in storage but soon will be hanging on my wall when i move. Really great looking deck i just wish i didn't sell my bottle nose Gleaming the Cube McGill years ago as that would have looked great with this deck together. Won't be getting that one back as the price has sky rocket on it.
@@StainedGlassEyeBalls I hear you...I missed the Series 9 McGill and totally regret it. I was just getting back into skating at that point and my collecting addiction hadn't quite kicked in yet😜
