Interesting about the blue primos. I have the yellow snakes 82a. They started off feeling more grippy (and your description was perfect) but then suddenly became much more slidy than my snakes and very predictable. A bit too slidy for fast freeride for me but just cruising with standups I’m really enjoying them. Maybe it’s me or the weather or something. Great review as always.

So glad for whats essentially the return of These 327s with these, especially the paster thane ones which are the same ATF urethane. I just got the green SSF ones and they're exactly what I expected. I like having a smaller core with more urethane depth, so these are perfect for me. Nice review man thanks for covering all the duros.

I could be wrong, but 327s were the same thane as 727s which are most similar to 80a RACE formula. At least that's what Kevin as alluded to. Might even be the exact same formula with some dye.

@@launchpadmcquack98 Kevin is so unnecessarily cryptic lol

@@launchpadmcquack98Yeah that's my understanding of it too from Kevin's posts. It's a great urethane, glad it has managed to stick around.

I have Yellow snake I been messing with over the winter. They feel pretty slidey to me. I prefer grip wheels though.

I don't care for that new blue/yellow 82a thane at all. Feels kind of gross when sliding/hooking up at the end of the slide. I do want to try those oranges though. Nice vid!

Agreed, it's too snappy of a release and hookup for how slippery the slide is. They'd be a good wheel for someone learning hands down slides who really doesn't wanna flatspot their wheels imo.

I’m feeling you might be coming back to snakes…😂 it’s ok if you do we wont hold it against you. 😊

Probably not, once the weather warms back up ill be back on thaney wheels. But for the next month or so slidy wheels like the red primos are feeling very good.

@@ChemTrailSkate I’ve just flat spotted my yellow snakes - which is a bit annoying as I was enjoying their crazy slidiness. But it’s weird I really don’t tend to flat spot wheels. Is it true that some wheels flat spot more easily than others or is that just a myth?

For the beginner - yes 😆 thank you. Actually been scared of urethane wheels, but then again-I really don’t know how to properly use them. I also think I’m not going fast enough to initiate slides with control. Only have generic ones and the Venom Mach 1.

The wheels you've got are probably a bit grippy, usually generic wheels don't come stone ground which can make them challenging to start sliding with. And Mach 1s are designed to be pretty grippy, probably a bit too much for a beginner. Also all wheels are urethane nowadays, fortunately there's no clay or steel wheels anymore. Try to look specifically for stone ground wheels (pre broken-in) like Snakes or Venom Sideshows.
