Power Apps Collection: Collections are in-memory records grouped together into a table type of variable. We will cover the use of collections in Power Apps. We can take data and put it into a collection by using the Collect and ClearCollect functions. Collections can hold only one type of record, which means they need to have the same field listing or come from the same data source.

Can you store JSON in a SP column and pull it into a gallery that I can in-line edit and add new rows? I need to have a sub-table to a form and I don’t want to add an additional SP list as a child list to it. Thanks!

I've never tried that because I would create it as another SP list. Is there a reason you don't want to create a related table like that?

@@PowerAppsTutorial I think we are trying to limit how many child lists we’d have. We are making daily reports for every location. So each day is a new list entry, and the table I’m mentioning could multiple items per day so the list could grow pretty quick because we have a lot of locations. But ultimately it may be best to just add another SP list.
