Very nice trick on that view refresh. This is quite likely going to enhance performance and reduce cost quite significantly for one of my apps. Thanks for sharing the knowledge!

@11:52 Hi Paul, When I clicked on the submit button to update a record, it triggered reloading 100 rows in a gallery which I filtered with a date range varStart/varEnd. Any idea of how to avoid this big overhead ?
I will try to look into this - the way power apps behaves is always subject to change. I was previously using this technique with galleries, so it will be very disappointing if this no longer works.
@@pauloflaherty6757 it still works in galleries but it only display the first record as it is the behaviour of the lookup function it would have been great if it could work with the filter function..
