Hi Nitish, Luminous Zelio 1100 series inverters work best with batteries ranging from 100 Ah to 150Ah. For higher capacity battery the time required to charge the battery will be > 12 hrs which we do not recommend for the inverter battery system to work efficiently.

Hi, I am using Ecovolt 900 since last 7 years and is working fine without any issues. As per your mention, I have visited your load calculator and for a 1HP motor, the inverter suggested is 1400VA, means Ecovolt+ 1550. Can it cater the starting current of a 1HP motor? What is the surge rating of this inverter? My Kirloskar 1HP pump takes about 6A on normal running condition.

Hi Sanoj, could you please tell us if it is a submersible pump? If yes, what is the depth of it? A 2KVA might not be sufficient to run submersible pumps at greater depth. Hence, we suggest you to buy iCruze 3000 and above to run submersible pumps.

Useful info. Pls suggest Eco volt plus 1550 with Inverlast 220 ah is a good combination or not. 4 fans, 4 tubelight, 1 led and 1 computer is minimum requirements. Need a future ready inverter.

Hi Pankaj, that’s a great combination. If you are living in an area where there are frequent power cuts, then we would recommend you to use a 200 Ah battery, otherwise, you can use 220Ah battery.

@@LuminousIndia there are serious issues with the latest cruze, and optimus variants , unit does not work from day 1 , replacement is taking ages to be done, its been over 2 weeks and still im left without an inverter at home. Can you suggest a good working robust model for home use 2kv load that works without any issues.

Discharging rate of battery is also very important. A 200 Ah C 20 battery can only be discharged 120 w continuously. 200*12/20=120 .

How does zelio overcomes overload because it doesn't have Reset option???

Hi. If the inverter is in ECO Mode and if the display shows 'old' it means the inverter is in overload condition. All you have to do is reduce the load, and the inverter will reset automatically. However, in the case of UPS Mode, the inverter would shut down in an overload condition. In such a situation, we suggest you to use the ON/OFF switch of the inverter. Let us know if you have any further queries.

Yes, it will support 220ah battery. Although, humming noise of transformer is natural, it should not be abnormally high. Kindly let us know in case of any further queries.
